Georgia tolls? Transponder that works with both Georgia and Florida?

We didn't get a toll transponder on our last trip but I am going to on this trip, I think. What would work on both Georgia and Florida tolls? Any info on the Georgia road with tolls now? I seen them somewhat in Atlanta, but didn't pay much attention to them.

Thanks for the reminder. We've used our Peach Pass before, but we got an uneasy feeling buzzing through the tolls on 429 during this past trip (a couple of weeks ago). So far, the Leesburg toll (Florida Turnpike) has been posted to our account. Still no sign of the 429 toll charges though (but no mail-by-plate notice or mailed traffic ticket either)... It is accepted on that road, as well, though: "E-PASS, SunPass, LeeWay, Georgia Peach Pass and NC Quick Pass transponders are accepted in all toll lanes." https://www.cfxway.com/faqs/using-our-expressways/

Peachpass works anywhere Sunpass would work.

Same is true for Sunpass. We live in Atlanta and actually purchased a Sunpass for FL/GA tolls. No issues so far.

They both work in NC too, but we’ve never travelled those roads.

I believe you meant "the same is true", or most correctly, "the converse is true".

The opposite would be that SunPass & E-Pass are not accepted in GA. At least, that's how I read it, until I followed your link.

Yep just used the Florida sun pass on our drive this past week. Used the express and hov lanes in Georgia no problem, tolls charged to account. Overall we used ~$15 in tolls in Georgia and Florida (traveling across state in Florida as well). Totally worth the money for the time savings and less traffic stress!

I'm wanting to understand exactly how to do this. We currently have a peach pass on all three cars. If I fly down to Orlando this week, do I bring a pay and go peach pass, then call to put it onto a personal account which has money in it, and give them the tag number of the rental car, attach the sticker in the right place then go through any and all sun pass lanes and that's it?

I did try this a couple of years ago, and one of the tolls showed up correctly and another one sent us a fine and said we didn't pay the toll, so that one didn't get the peach pass for some reason.

What has been folks' experience with peach passes on rental cars lately?

About forgot to get the Peach Pass, and I am the OP,. But I went in and ordered one and surely it will be here by the 28th of March.
