...I got a phone call from my sister to tell me that my nephew has got engaged and they plan to get married 2011:yay:
Congratulations!!! :bride: :groom:

...I have ordered my New York pass for my trip as they were 20% off yesterday. I went for the 3 day one as they will be enough for us:goodvibes
Great result!!! :yay:

Good morning!!!
Today is the day I have been dreading!!! We're having the gas meter moved from inside the now partially-demolished garage to the exterior wall of the house. This has required an incredible amount of patience, palm-greasing (it's costing in excess of £1100!!!) and planning. The meter moving peeps won't disconnect/reconnect the gas so have needed to arrange for my own engineer to be here for that and had to have the skip taken away as they won't work if there's one on onsite...

Not much progress at the moment so looks like I'm stuck here for the day and will miss my Developmental Psychology lecture. :sad2: Ah well, just hope they get on with it...

the tree has vanished now lol , woke up this morning and it had fallen down sooo not impressed lol

Just need to get something for Lee's brother & nephew but haven't got a clue what to get them and trying to get Lee to decided is....well I might as well spend the day banging my head against the wall. :headache:

I seem to have spent the last two days close to or in tears. I was upset by a family member yesterday. Today I looked after my best friends youngest little girl whilst she took her second little girl to "big-school" for the first time, she came back and shed quite a few tears, we have travelled the journey of the last seven years of our lives together with our five gorgeous girls and spent a lovely half an hour this afternoon over a cup of tea reminding each other how lucky we are. Then, I come home to the news my next closest friend that her husband has lost his job. His company have been muting redundancies for over 12 months and finally it had come to them. I feel so sorry for them, especially at this time of year.

I really need a good day tomorrow:)
