General chit chat thread.

Thanks everybody, I feel much better tonight. My friend (who suffers herself) suggested it might be a migraine. I've never had one before, and I hope I don;t start suffering with them as I know what she goes through.
She suggested an early night.

How are you feeling Nat?

I can't wait to see the back end of this week, roll on the weekend and some cosy family time:goodvibes

Glad you're feeling better Jo :)

Yeah, roll on the weekend !!! :yay:

Im feeling really down in the dumps today and i cant shake it :guilty: im so tired .... i asssume thats the jet lag but ive definatly got the post holiday blues.
Oh hun, I'm so sorry!!! I hope the weekend gives you a boost... That post-hols downer is an absolute beeyatch...:hug::hug:

...I went to the gym this morning and popped to the supermarket and came over all queasy and dizzy, I had to leave my trolley without paying. I collected Poppy from pre-school and had a lie on the sofa. I've just managed to get warm and stop shivering, the headache is going slighty and I was sick this afternoon. I do hope it's not the piggy flu. Can't wait for Richard to get in so I can go to bed.
That sounds like it could be a migraine, Jo! They used to plague me when the kiddiwinks were little and the school run was a killer... Hope you're feeling better tonight... :goodvibes

I must admit I called on my friend to bring Anna home from school this afternoon as I was so dizzy I was petrified of crossing the main road on foot with Poppy or getting in the car driving there (and you know how close it is Karen).

Do you still suffer with them Karen? My friend has nasal sprays and all sorts she has to use at the onset of one. Sometimes shes out of action for a day or two. I'd hate that.
I think my experience today may have been caused by a slight headache coming on coupled with a 40min gym session:rolleyes:

I'm off to bed now - goodnight one and all.

I had a reasonable nights sleep and so ive woken up feeling a lot better this morning :thumbsup2

im looking forward to a natter with Mandy later ! have a great day everyone xx

Hope you have a nice natter, girls:goodvibes

Glad your feeling better Natalie & Joanne:goodvibes

Went to see the The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus last night. It was good but probably has been hyped a bit due to it being Heath Ledger's last film. Johnny Depp & Heath Ledger look so alike in the film, it too me a while to work out they had switched. It was more obvious when it was Colin Farrell & Jude Law.

Saw the trailer for the Sherlock Holmes film & it looks great. They filmed a fair bit of it near where I live:thumbsup2

I don't have them too badly now, Joanne - maybe 1 every 6/8 weeks or so. I used to have meds but I think they made the nausea/vomiting much worse so stopped taking them about 5 years ago... I found giving up caffeine helped initially but the biggest difference was cutting down on the amount of cheese I ate!!! I used to eat loads and only stopped due to a diet I was trying but once I did, the pattern of my migraines really changed!!! I think it must've been the trigger and now I notice the smell can make me feel 'funny'...

Ooooh whereabouts were they filming, Nikki???

They filmed it in Chatham's Historic Dockyard. I only read about them filming there after the fact though. Jude Law filmed a fair bit there.
