General chit chat thread.

Good Morning

How is everyone this morning ?

Nothing exciting happening in Nuneaton today. I'm off to Coventry with my mum this morning, then having my hair cut this afternoon (ready for a wedding we're off to on Saturday)

Have a lovely day guys :)

Morning :)

nothing exciting here, last day of work for the week, hoping for a better day today as yesterday the preschool i work in was broken into and lots of stuff/money was stolen, cant belive people would steal from a pre school :sad2:

have a good day everyone :goodvibes

Oh that is terrible Rachel. Some people are just scum. :sad2:

Not much going on here today....I am so tired this morning! I will doing some housework as I've been neglecting it all week.

Have a great day all.

Another tired person here. It doesn't help that it's dark when I get up. At least the mornings will be lighter next week once we've changed the clocks.

That's terrible Rachel, there's some real scumbags around :(

At least the mornings will be lighter next week once we've changed the clocks.

Thanks for the reminder Libby :thumbsup2 I thought the clocks weren't going back till the following weekend

Morning. I feel like poop today which really isn't what I'd hoped for as I have to write a couple of short essays for tomorrow. I'm crossing my fingers that the drugs kick in soon and my brain wakes up...

The men are breaking up concrete for the foundations and the noise is really going through me. Plus their boss has just hassled me (for the 1,000,000th time) about when the gas people are coming to move the gas meter. I, of course, am not privy to the scheduling of the aforementioned gas company so haven't got a clue, but there you are. And I don't need the hassling... :sad2:

Sorry to hear about your preschool being burgled, Rachel - I hope the stolen stuff can be replaced...

Have a good day, one and all...

Morning all...I don't really feel 'with-it' today, but im sure i'll wake up soon! Just looking online for a new laptop, due to mine dying (after only 18mnths!!!), hopefully a bookcase i've ordered is being delivered today too.

hi everyone, not been on here in a few days, I have been on my placement at a nursery and so far I think it is going well, it is hard work though.

Evening,

I've not been on much this week as I'm in Blackpool visiting the in laws:scared1:.

Today has been a good day though, we took the kids to Old Trafford and then I got to the trafford centre. I loved that as our local shopping centre is really quite small. Just a shame we only had a couple of hours there, but I did find the disney store :banana: which was nice as the nearest one to me is a 4 hour drive.

The kids loved Old Trafford but Liam is a Barcelona fan and told our tour guide this so it was quite funny as the tour guide kept teasing him.

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. We had a great one. Hubby & I went to a family wedding on Saturday and we met up with some family members that we haven't seen since our wedding 21 years ago

On Saturday evening we went to see Spandau Ballet at the NEC. We had a great time. Tony Hadley has got a great voice, and the girl who was their backing singer was great too. And as for Gary and Martin Kemp, well they looked good :rotfl2::rotfl2:

It's half term here, so its nice not having to yell at the girls to get up ;) but we haven't got anything exciting planned for this week

sounds like you had a fab weekend Mandy :goodvibes

We are having a quiet half term nothing exciting planned, going to see Up on Friday :thumbsup2

Hi everyone

Was just thinking as I am here in Oman and 4 hours ahead of the UK that I am just about to make myself a sannie for lunch and you guys will be having breakfast.:)

Morning all. Anyone doing anything exciting today?

I have to wait in for two deliveries & Mr. Tesco! :headache: Could really do with getting out and getting some fresh air. I have been couped up indoors for about a week (other than taking the dog to the vets last night) as I have been feeling rough.

I suppose I could make good use of the day and start on the gigantic ironing pile but I am sure (hope) I will getting distracted by something more interesting. ;)

Morning everyone. I have had a good couple of night shifts where we have not been overly busy & now i'm off for the next week & a half:yay:

Good Afternoon everyone

I hope you're having a good day :thumbsup2

This morning hubby had a meeting near the Merryhill shopping centre, so I went along for the ride, and he dropped me off for an hour while he went off to the meeting. We met up for brekkie later in the morning and he bought me a cute Snowball Stitch and some Mickey Mouse Crimbo cards. I also treated myself to some eggnog Yankee Candle votives and a Christmas votive holder

The girls have gone out, so I'm sitting here DISing, Facebooking and watching Twilight and having a nice cup of tea

Have a lovely afternoon everyone, and enjoy your time off Nikki ::yes::

I like the Merryhill Centre, it's not too far from my mum. On the way we pass the Corbett Hospital where, my brother assures me, Sooty was born.

Hope you have a great break from work Nikki:thumbsup2

You did well today Mandy:thumbsup2

Usual half term stuff going on here. Out to the park this morning, then back home for lunch before taking them to the tennis club for half term activites.
I had every intention of going to the gym the afternoon but decided to get ahead with my housework instead, as I was sooooo behind and the place was a tip - wonder why?

Off to do some dinner, then it's bathtime then a lovely evening of ironing lies ahead;)

That's fab, have you got anything planned?

I'm off to Colchester Zoo tomorrow with my niece & nephew. I have a funeral to attend on Friday.

Not much else planned yet, hope to catch up with my friends & plan my New York trip. Just enjoying the rest really as I have not had any leave since starting my new job in February

Oooh, it's raining. A real dreary November morning. I ought to go to the gym today as I haven't been for a week, but sitting here in my cosy dressing gown drinking a cup of tea is far more appealing.
