I'm going to tackle Expedition Everest !!! ( otherwise known as the ironing plie)

Good luck with the expedition Nat, I started mine about half an hour ago and the iron has just gone pop! Well, the iron is still working but the steam generator bit is no longer "generating"

Off to search out a new one, can't go back to dry ironing after three steam generators...

I am off my placement today with a bad cold which has kept me awake all night, so catching up with the Dis and trying to come up with some activitie ideas for 2 year olds.

I'm hoping to the fireworks display tonight that my local leisure centre is holding this year. Hopefully my cousin will be back from work in time, haven't seen her for a while so we are due a catch up session

Since its the weekend here I had a long lie well until 8.30.

I am on a roll now just heading off shortly to do my second day of Christmas shopping. Soon be finished at this rate.

Oh and thursday nights are margherita nights even though I don't enjoy them as well as the Daiquris but hey ho what a hardship.

I didn't get to go to the firework display yesterday as my cousin got home late from work but I did get to watch them from my house as it was only a couple of roads away. They were really good.

I'm off to the cinema tonight to see the The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus, Heath Ledger's last film

Our garden is full of leaves again. However we can't rake them yet as the garden is wet due to the amount of rain in the past week. Also our garden waste bin is full & its not due to be emptied until Monday

Im feeling really down in the dumps today and i cant shake it im so tired .... i asssume thats the jet lag but ive definatly got the post holiday blues.

I've just got back from The Fort with Kerry and I've finished off her Christmas shopping. I got her a cute party dress and a handbag, so she's sorted for the New Year parties

I went to the gym this morning and popped to the supermarket and came over all queasy and dizzy, I had to leave my trolley without paying. I collected Poppy from pre-school and had a lie on the sofa. I've just managed to get warm and stop shivering, the headache is going slighty and I was sick this afternoon. I do hope it's not the piggy flu. Can't wait for Richard to get in so I can go to bed.

Thankfully me and DD just got colds, mine has gone but Kyra's still suffering slightly with a stuffy nose and dry cough.

Thanks everybody, I feel much better tonight. My friend (who suffers herself) suggested it might be a migraine. I've never had one before, and I hope I don;t start suffering with them as I know what she goes through.
She suggested an early night.
