Well, I wanted to see him actually bring his stuff home before I really believed that he was staying.


It was a secret until I made sure it was real. Didn't want to say anything to you guys and then have it fall through.


We knew about this when we were in Florida. I was hoping not to slip up and say anything, since he really wanted to wait until it was finalized.

I know what you mean about jinxing it.


I too like the new stove and the floor. Of course a MeMom and Jill family celebration for Bella was all about the gawgies and a barking good time was had by all.

HI! I popped over from either MEK's or Wigd's thread to say hi! I read through all the updates (and skimmed the chatter). What a fun bunch you all are!

I have to say - we just stayed one night at POP before our cruise and that was not the only place where the toilets are, shall we say, very powerful? I got sprayed a couple times!!

Those girls are about the cutest things I have seen since, well, my girls! What a fun birthday party!
I think you guys could do a party business, just "specialize" in Disney themes!!

Congrats to Trent on his new job and good luck to Tanya with her interview. What kind of work do they do?

Isn't it crazy how fast our DIS kids grow up? A whole group of us who have been around for a while have watched and waited for arrivals of these babies, rejoiced together as we got to see pictures for the first time, and now have enjoyed seeing birthday parties as they grow. Some we have even been able to see in person, like Seth and Claire and Will, and we hope to see so many more in years to come.

I was just lucky enough to get a decent income tax return this time, and I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. The linoleum was peeling up around the edges of the kitchen, and the carpet was just horrible. The stove was completely embarrassing, anf the dryer didn't work. I really needed to save that money, but I just went ahead and committed to all of the house things before I could back out.

We're sure glad that we didn't have to say goodbye Sunday afternoon. Trent said it felt weird not to be packing up to go back. I'm sure Tanya is in a semi-state of shock right now that she is here.

We'll be getting back to trip pictures, now that the remodeling and party are over.

He went into work yesterday afternoon and came back feeling really good about it. That makes me very happy. He's going to have a busy, busy schedule for the next few months.

I know what you mean about jinxing it.

I too like the new stove and the floor. Of course a MeMom and Jill family celebration for Bella was all about the gawgies and a barking good time was had by all.

I just didn't want to say anything here and then have to undo it if things weren't set in concrete.

There was much barking around here yesterday. The real dog, Ben, was sadly put up in the back room during the fun. We thought that would add a little too much to the party to have all the kids and Ben running around. He would have had a great time chasing them and running from them, but we didn't want anyone to get undercut as he flew by or have him get run over by the human gawgies.

The cat was very happy to be shut up in my bedroom. He would have wanted no part of the party.

I love them, too. Now Jill and John want that floor in their house. They only plan to be there a couple more years, though, so I'm not sure they will invest the money into it. Of course, it would help with the resale value, I'm sure, so they might. John and his dad could do the labor, so it really wouldn't cost that much.

There are so many fun reports to read. I wish I had more time to devote just to reading reports, but some I just get to peek in on every so often. I look forward to summer and having more DIS time.

Trent is a personal trainer, and he has a business and finance degree. Tanya was working in a doctor's office in the front office. I'm not sure what she will do here, but for now she said she might just try to waitress at one of the nicer restaurants until she decides. She said that brings in good money.

I did get a lot of good things for Bella's birthday, didn't I???

Jarvis is in Michigan for the funeral today. He'll be back tomorrow night. He was #5 in the competition, which is what his goal was - to make the top 5. He said some of those guys are just unbeatable. I do not understand the desire to starve yourself and work so hard and sacrifice so much to get up in front of a crowd in your 'skivvies' to show your muscles, but he seems to like it.

I am happy to have my kitchen back in order.
I used the stove top and the oven for the first time this weekend. It was so nice to have four burners. My other oven was still just fine, but this new one was much cleaner inside.

No other secrets for now. I'll be glad when there is another baby 'secret', but I'm not having any luck talking anybody into that.
Maybe when Brandy's baby arrives, it will spark some interest.

When I bought the dresses for the girls last week, I was lucky that Drew's girlfriend, Maggie, was here to share them with.
She liked them, whereas Drew would have just grunted at them.

It was a fabulous weekend.

I did not know Trent was a personal trainer. That is what Cody wants to go to school for. He works out every day. His friends tease him saying he has an "8 pack" (which he does) but he is very into keeping fit & eating right. He has all kinds of work out things down cellar & uses them faithfully. Best of luck to Trent & Tanya in their new work lives.

I will be thinking of Jarvis today.
