Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

Looks like a great party, and made all the more special I;m sure knowing that you didn't have to say a big goodbye to Trent and Tanya at the end of it. :goodvibes

Looking forward to seeing ideas for Brooklyn's possible 'Tangled' party. My DDs birthdays are exactly one month apart but not until the summer so I'm already dreaming up ideas for a big joint party

I hope you have a good Monday Memom. I know you will are happy to have your whole family close again.

Yep, you still throw the best parties around! :) Love the little touches of the theme that you put in!

Bella looks so unsure of the singing!

That's exciting about Trent!

I'm already working on a yarn version of Rapunzel's long hair for a door decoration, and the party's not until May, but I figure it might take me that long to get it finished!

A door decoration is an awesome idea!!:goodvibes I'm gonna pass this on if you don't mind, my Dniece wants a Tangled party for her birthday in November.
:lmao: This just reminded me of the Rapunzel wig my mum made me for my Halloween costume when I was 6 or 7 (so, 1987 or 88, long before Tangled!) Only the yarn was very orangey in colour and my mum is not a very crafty lady(she tried:))....and it was cold so my dad made me wear my snowsuit over my dress...most people thought I was some kind of winter themed cabbage-patch kid!:rotfl2:

Looks like you had a great party! And that's wonderful that Trent is moving back closer to you!

What a fun party!! You ladies are quite talented on the party planning front :thumbsup2 And your kitchen looks great!

Congratulations on having Trent back home, how exciting!!! :cheer2:

Lovely new stove and floor!

Great party! Everything was so cute, and Jill's cake was a work of art -- and I imagine a very tasty one at that! Brooklyn and Bella are so adorable painting their picture frames!

Hurray for Trent being home!!! I know you must be absolutely thrilled about that!!!

I hope Aunt Joan continues to get better! What a scary experience for her.

Jill said she shouldn't have put her pretty cake on my new stove, because everybody was more excited about the new stove than the cake. She was pouting. :snooty: I assured her the cake was 'beautifuller' than my stove, and she seemed okay. :)

If you could have seen the pictures of Joan's car, it would have made you sick. It was horrible.

I did not know Trent was a personal trainer. That is what Cody wants to go to school for. He works out every day. His friends tease him saying he has an "8 pack" (which he does) but he is very into keeping fit & eating right. He has all kinds of work out things down cellar & uses them faithfully. Best of luck to Trent & Tanya in their new work lives.

I will be thinking of Jarvis today.

He loves to help people look better and be in better health. I am not a testament to his work, however. :upsidedow His clients love him and the results he produces. :thumbsup2

I've been thinking of Jarvis, too. This is the day it becomes real, I think.

What a great weekend! The party looked awesome and so much fun. Yall always have the best parties! I know you are excited that Trent is back! Happy Birthday to Bella!

And now, it's back to reality and a week of work.
Thumbs down. ;)

Always looking forward to those weekends!

What great news about Trent!! How exciting!!

He went in bright and early this morning. :)

That's wonderful news about Trent!!!

I hope this is a really good move for both of them. :goodvibes

Brooklynn may change her mind a dozen times in the next four months. Maybe she'll see something while we're in Disney World that catches her eye. I think she's saying Rapunzel because that's the newest movie, but she might decide on something else when it's old news. The day may even come when she chooses something non-Disney.

I hope you have a good Monday Memom. I know you will are happy to have your whole family close again.

I do love having my kids around. ::yes::

Bella was kind of in a daze the whole time. It was pretty funny.

We enjoy doing the parties. It's fun to think of silly little things to do and have at them. I enjoy working with Jill to bring it all together, too.

Jill called Cabbage Patch Kids 'Pabbage Catch'.

If Brooklynn sticks with Tangled, I'll need to watch it a few more times to get some ideas. I saw it with them at the theater, and I half watched it with her once, but I really need to watch it to take notes, if that ends up being the party theme. We're hoping to go to Louisville to the zoo and the Disney Store in a couple of weeks, so maybe we'll get some ideas there.

Looks like you had a great party! And that's wonderful that Trent is moving back closer to you!

Yep on both counts. It was weird having him there this morning making PBJ sandwiches alongside me. I hope he's having a great first day. :)

I spent much of the afternoon in a hallway with about 150 1st and 2nd graders down on their knees with their heads covered. We let them up in short intervals, calling them by shirt colors to raise up, stretch, and get a breath of something besides the floor. It was a long afternoon. Buses were anywhere from 30-45 minutes late, but thankfully not the hour they had told us they might be. Traffic was slow on the way home, but it never came to a standstill while I was in it. Our exit was blocked. I could see one telephone pole all the way down and one cracked in half. I went up to the next exit and came back by way of a back road. There are no traffic lights working. I was happy to be home and to have power. :thumbsup2

Is there a better way to escape a Tennessee spring storm than to jump into some Disney pictures?

That is, if you can't be in the real Disney World.... :)

Next stop for our day in Hollywood was the Animation Studio.

Mushu was supposed to turn out a different way, but I think he ended up being pretty cute just like he is.

IMG_0880.jpg

Must be nice to have talent.
I can only draw stick figures.

IMG_0881.jpg

We saw Sorceror Mickey, but didn't stand in line for him.

IMG_0882.jpg

Bella and I did some singing thing.

Brooklynn loves to change the colors on the painting screen.

IMG_0886.jpg

This color?

IMG_0887.jpg

No, that color.

IMG_0888.jpg

Naaah, this one.

IMG_0889.jpg

Now, do it the right way.

Bella's turn.

For our Math Fair, each class is making piggy banks of some kind.

Guess who I'm using for our piggy banks?

Please pass it on! I confess that I found the idea when I googled for ideas. I do great when someone else comes up with the ideas! ;)

What a yucky afternoon! It stormed a little here, but nothing like that!!!! Glad you had power when you got home!

Yikes! Sounds like you had some scary weather this afternoon  It's been crazy windy here the last couple of days, no storms though.

I haven't watched the show with Mushu in ages, I should check it out again :thumbsup2

Love the pics of the girls 'coloring' - so cute!

MeMom, I was thinking about everytime I saw I map and the weather coming our way. I am glad you are safe at home now and have power. I am ready to batten down the hatches here for tonight.

I hope Trent had a great first day and Tanya had a great interview.

Looks like that weather is headed this way :scared1: I hope it fizzles out before it gets here, but it looks pretty bad still!

Wow the storms looked so bad for you guys today. I am glad y'all are ok.
Just caught up. What a busy and exciting weekend! The new floor and stove look great! And Jills cake was amazing. She is so talented! And the Big news about Trent and Tanya!!! Wow. Just so happy for you and your family for all of it!

Oh my gosh sounds like you had a scary day!!:scared1: Glad to hear everything is ok. The kids must get so scared while they are going through that. We don't get storms like that here very often. Glad to hear you had power.

Oh no that's so scary! Was there a tornado warning for you guys as well?

I've never seen what they have on the interactive screens for the kids before, it's pretty cute. I always like taking the character quiz test when I'm there.

 That's for everything-Aunt Joan, Jarvis's mother, Trent coming home, sweet Bella, and bad weather. In fact, all of that deserves two hugs!

Oh no!! An afternoon in the hallway is not a good thing!!
So glad you all made it home safe and sound. Hope you have better weather tomorrow and you get to stay in the classroom and do something productive...

Thinking of Jarvis today, as well as Trent starting his new job and Tanya in her quest for a new one.:goodvibes

Happy 2nd Birthday (tomorrow) Bella
:cake::cake:

Oh, wow, what a scary afternoon. I saw on Heather's and Jackie's FB's that you guys were getting bad storms. It was rainy here today, and are supposed to have more rain and possibly some thunderstorms tomorrow, but nothing like what you guys are getting. :scared1: Glad you had power when you got back!
