The show about Walt Disney is on CNBC now if anyone wants to catch the last half of it! It's a GREAT show!
I didn't catch it. I hope another DISer was able to enjoy it.
I never made it to the movie....I watched Say Yes To The Dress reruns...and then my family came over and we were playing on the Wii and then I started laundry....and now it's 8:43pm and it's too late....oh well, I'm sure I'll go at some point this week! It's gonna be a big movie week for me. I know our censor warning on the website for movie times said some scary parts and mild violence if that helps at all for Brooklyn.
If we see it, it will have to be Sunday afternoon after lunch. Trent really wants to see it with Brooklynn. Bella would probably do again if she had some munchies, or maybe she'd even fall asleep. Or I can keep her here for a nap and the others can go see it. Or we can do it another week. We just don't know yet.
Me too! Even if it was only for a few minutes. So glad I got to see you!
Where's the warning for that horrid bird in the first picture???
Loved the zoo pics. I am actually hoping to take Seth tomorrow to Zoo Atlanta. It depends on how he's feeling. He's teething pretty hard right now and was running a slight fever earlier today. I don't want to take him all the way down there and then him be miserable the whole time. So we'll see how he does in the morning and if he's in a good mood I'll probably leave here around 11:00. Keep your fingers crossed we get to go - it's supposed to be beautiful tomorrow! And I'll get some good gorillas pictures for you.
HAPPY EASTER!
I didn't think about the bird warning.
So sorry.
I hope you guys do get to go to the zoo. I will get down there one of these days.
MeMom- It looks like your zoo day was a success! I'm glad to hear that your students had such a good time.
I also loved the photos from the Dig Site and Restaurantosaurus. I know that many people don't like Dinoland, and claim that it isn't "themed", but those people must not know anything about paleontology! It is so awesome to look at all the neat little references. In real life (pre-mommy days) I was an archeologist, and while I dug up people and not dinos, I still can really relate to many of the "dig culture" gags. If you live with the same small group in an isolated spot for many months at a time, things do tend to get a little crazy, and I love all the goofy things you can find in Dinoland, like the golden trowel award in your photo. I remember doing things just like that to pass the time and keep things interesting! Thanks for all the fun photos!
I am hoping to get better pictures at the zoo today. Watching so many kids that were going so many different directions on the school trip was not the exact right condition for taking good pictures.

They had a blast, though. I wish some of their parents would take them out there for the whole day so that they could really see everything, but out of my 21, only 2 had ever been.
That's fun that you have that connection to the Dig Site.
They also have a Mickey shower curtain, hooks (for shower curtain), trashcan, bath mat, and towels!!!! Yep, I saw this posted somewhere on this thread!!! Of course, I had to go get them!!!! I didn't get the soap dispenser or the towels though. I'll post a pic when I get the curtain up.
Happy Easter everyone!!! I hope you have a great weekend!!!!!
We will look forward to your picture. I thought for a split second about picking up the Mickey or Minnie soap, but I didn't really like that there was writing on it. I had looked it up online, and when I did, the black ceramic dispenser showed up, too. It was just plain black, and it was $9.99. I think I would like that one better, if I were going to have one in this particular bathroom. If I had a more Mickeyish theme, I would like it okay, but my AKL theme is more subdued. I need a house with more bathrooms so I can choose another fun Disney theme.
Happy Easter to you, too! I got up and made the potato soup I am taking to Joan and Brandy, and stirred two cake mixes together to bake later. I am rolling my hair now, and I am going to run to the grocery store in a few minutes to get the rest of my Easter dinner stuff. I think I'm doing some ham, baked potatoes, salad, and a few different vegetables. Just keeping it simple.
