Great zoo pictures! Looks like you had a wonderful time together as a family. We love having passes to the Indy zoo. We've had one for the past 2 years. 2 trips and it pays for itself. I anticipate more trips this summer since Owen is a little older and I feel more comfortable taking them by myself.
The great thing about the annual passes is that we can also get into many other zoos for free or for a reduced price.
I loved seeing the picture of the kids today on FB.
Looks like a super fun day. Both girls made excellent souvenir decisions!
They were both very satisfied, and neither one of them spent over twenty dollars.
I hope you have had a Happy Easter!
I love the eggs at the zoo. Such a cute idea and I bet it was fun to watch the animals see what the Easter Bunny had brought them.
I'm just chillin' now and enjoying catching up on the DIS. I think we need Monday off, too, don't you?
Happy Easter MeMom and Jill!!! Hope the girls had fun!!!
I believe they did.

Okay, last pictures from this weekend, and then back to the report.
We had some visitors for this afternoon's Easter dinner.
Did you notice who was hiding in the grass?
All these guys came prepared for April showers, which we did get on and off all day.
The rolls and the macaroni salad hadn't made it to the table yet, but here's the rest of it.
Right before we started to eat, Tanya got a call from work saying she was supposed to come in, but she said she knows she wasn't on the schedule. She went on in anyway, but she said she took a phone picture of the new schedule just to have a back-up of what she knew.
The guys fixing their plates.
Drew was here, too. His girlfriend, Maggie, had come by for a few minutes, but she had to go eat with her family and then go to work. I should have thought to get a picture of them together.
I just noticed that Drew's plate was surrounded by tools. So appropriate for him.

I guess he just cleared off a spot on the table where he had been piddling around with who knows what.
The girls hunted eggs that were painted like insects, so they used nets to catch them. Bella didn't quite get it at first. She picked them up with her hands, put them into the net, then dumped them in the bucket.
Aren't these cute?
They came with small packages of candy, most of which I will be taking to school. I opened the packages and a pack of M&M's and put two pieces of candy in each egg, so they didn't have too much.
Shortly after the egg hunting, Jill's crew needed to head home. John has been gone a week, and he was anxious to get home. It will be good for them to have some nice relaxing family time at home this evening before they start a new work week.
We had a very nice weekend together with family and friends. I forgot to mention that Brandon and Jarvis met us at the movie yesterday, too.
I think we only have about six weeks of school left. That's sounding pretty good to me. Six more Sunday evenings to spend fighting off the 'Monday morning is almost here' feeling, and then I can like Sunday nights again for the summer.
I hope you all had wonderful family and friends time today and all of this weekend, as well.
