Hopefully help will arrive quickly and be able to help those poor people. I can't even begin to imagine the magnitude of the death toll. Simply staggering numbers.
We have a 3 bedroom villa lined up so there's plenty of room. Otherwise, he said he's fine just going with the two of us.
. DD2 can wear you out. And, all she had to do was accompany us.

We've had a busy day. Pictures for my two birthday girls, then well checks. Of course, I had all 5 with me. Now I have quite a. DD2 can wear you out. And, all she had to do was accompany us.
DD1 got a total of 7 shots and 2 ears pierced. She played the role of screaming pin cushion. DD5 got performance anxiety about peeing in a cup. She gave them next to nothing after 3 trys, but it seemed to be enough.
My day seemed tough until I thought about Haiti. I'm far too spoiled. I couldn't even imagine the devastation.
As for DD5's performance anxiety, I completely understand. Happens to me EVERY time. I was scheduled for an endoscopy a few years ago. Couldn't go. Finally, they rescheduled me from first patient to 5th and fed me 2 bags of IV before I could "perform". Talk about embarassing. The entire staff started to cheer when I finally went.
All of this so they could do a urine/pregnancy test. I swore to them I wasn't pregnant, but it wasn't good enough.
I couldn't imagine taking one child to the doctor's. Thank goodness my husband always handled all of the domestic fires.
I did have to take my son to the emergency room once when he got hurt at a friend's house. Friend's dad was home alone with the boys when it happened and when I got there to pick up son, the dad had covered by son's gashes with a row of kotexes tied onto the leg with black electrical tape. And that's how I carried him into the ER.

Ok, DH fell asleep already and I'm watching Idol. It's sad to say I couldn't even remember the guy's name who won last year. Has he done anything at all???
I agree Pak, Adam Lambert definitely should have won!

I'm waiting for the single release of "pants on the ground"![]()

He was so cute! How sad is it that he was better than so many others? That one guy was scaring me, I thought he was going to get violent (the one who wouldn't stop singing). He was so cute! I didn't like it when they kept laughing at the skinny country guy. Sometimes they are just too mean.

I like it that during the credits, it showed the cast and crew, and some of the contestants singing "pants on the ground" with him.
I know that the producers let through a few of the "non-singers" for comedy relief.
It may seem mean, but really, did all the friends and family not tell the contenstants they didn't have a chance, because they really could not sing?![]()
Last year when we were watching AI there was one guy who keeps coming back, season after season, with his mom who encourages him. He's horrible! I told my daughter "see, I'm not being mean, it's actually because I love you that I tell you the truth. Would you rather I be like that guy's mom?" DD thanked me for loving her and being honest with her.
I didn't watch last night. I am working long weeks now and I just couldn't commit to staying awake that long.
Snap, the guy who won last year was Kris Allen. His CD released the week after Adam Lambert's. I have no idea how either CD did regarding sales. I did download Adam's onto my iphone. None of the songs come close to comparing with Mad World from his idol performances but I'd say I like 70% of the songs.
Kerrie, I'd be lost without my husband. Certainly the boys would have never made it to adulthood without him; I'm a much better accountant than I am a parent.
