Before my trip I checked these boards as I considered private transportation from MCO to our resort.
In past trips I had taken a taxi (that charged me for air conditioning) and a Lyft (but hit surge pricing and it was $$$). I am comfortable walking out to grab a taxi or rideshare and I didn't need a car seat, or help with my luggage. Should I get a private transportation?

YES

I reviewed some companies recommended here and went with Gearfusion. They had the best cost but seemed like a smaller company. I could not understand the reason to pay $20-$40 for what appeared to be the same service. But, this was all new to me. So, I rolled the dice and tried it out.

We loved it.

They communicated perfectly, from reservation all the way to meeting at baggage claim. Emails and text messages. They were very easy to communicate with. My party of two was met at baggage claim, walked out a nearby back exit away from all the ride share taxi mayhem, picked up in a large van, parked in the shade and already nice and cool. This was great since it was over 90 degrees that day! Our driver was friendly and helpful, but not so much that we felt like we had to hold a full conversation for 30+ minutes.

I was unsure what to do for our trip back to the airport and did not reserve in advance. Also, our departure day plans went through many modifications through the week! As late as the night before, we decided to hang at the resort, swim, have lunch, and depart from our home resort. I contacted Gearfusion via Facebook, got an immediate response, and they arranged to pick us up at 1:30pm the next day. I'm not sure if they can always accomodate on that short of notice, but the customer service for us was above and beyond.

Highly recommend Gearfusion!

This is great to hear. We will be using them for the first time for our upcoming trip this September!

We also decided to use them for our December trip! Never used a car service before, but wanted to try it out. They are able to pick us up at the MCO Hyatt (staying night before, late flight) so we won't need to meet at the baggage claim.

We have also had good experiences with Gearfusion. Todd is great, came all the way into the terminal, grabbed our bags, very nice guy.

Per MCO regulations, meet and greet service is required.
I have used Tiffany’s service for the last 1.5 yr and they never meet and greet per say

I text them when I got bags and they come inside 10 min later to get me.
That’s not really meet and greet
I prefer them standing at baggage with my name plate waiting for me

Used Tiffany 2 years ago for our family of 4 adults, 2kids. I got a text from the driver within minutes of landing. Told us what baggage claim to go to for our bags and met us there. Helped get the bags off the belt and went to the SUV. No waiting, no problem. Early next year we are going to try Gear Fusion. Good reviews here. Since our last trip Tiffany's price has almost doubled. We liked them a lot but they have priced themselces out of this trip.

Technically that is still M&G as you are met in baggage claim and escorted to your car, it’s just not to your personal standards.
