Gaylord Palms?

I spent one night here via Priceline. I was given a room in the Everglades section with a balcony overlooking the Everglades atrium. I really liked the decore of this room. Its size is probably around 360 square feet plus or minus. It wasn't really big but not tiny either. This is a large hotel and there are lots of places to walk around and explore. The main atrium has pathways next to creeks and a cave, and a waterfall. The Key West Atrium has a little bay with a ship in it. The ship is a restaurant. The main pool has a huge octopus next to it that sprays water out of some of it's tenticles. There was not ice anything there as I went in May!

I stayed there for two nights last year when we were attending a convention. We loved the hotel. It is truly a resort hotel. Once we arrived we never left the premises until checkout. The rooms seemed conventional size to me. They were nicely decorated. I never heard of an ice show. We did spend both nights enjoying the 'Dualing Pianos'. They were great & well worth watching. I'd love to go back again. We also ate at one of the restaurants for lunch. It was a buffet for $18 per person which is alot for us. Dh & I skipped breakfast & went late to the buffet. I wasn't hungry until 8pm that night. The food was delicious. They also have standard bugers & hot dogs out by the pool. I think they have about 4 sitdown restaurants & a couple of places to catch a quick bite.

Wish I could get it on Priceline! I bet you got a great deal.

Since I only had the one night I ate at the coffee shop/deli. It was just okay. Rather bland.
I got my room for $94 via Priceline.
I would definately go back...if it weren't for the fact that I love the Disney resorts. I do recommend it highly to those who want to stay off site. It is very convenient to WDW.

It's a beautiful resort, very "Disneyesque" in some ways. Our room was large, bright, and had a gorgeous view of the Everglades area. We ate at both Sunset Sams and Villa de Flora, with very enjoyable meals at each.

I have not seen the ice show, but the resort itself is worth a trip over. It's stunning to see such elaborate themeing inside a hotel!
