Garden View at Vero

So we were lucky enough to get a room at Vero for August, have a Garden View. We are on the wait list for the ocean view. Just wondering what you are seeing in the Garden View. And, also curious, the rooms that overlook the pool at the main inn, what are they considered?

We had a beach view in December and in reality had a great view of the pool. If you stood on a chair on the balcony you could see the ocean.

I went back to the Front Desk and the CM said "I knew that you might be back". We then were given a ocean view room at the rear of the resort.

FYI - if your room has a de-humidifier, check the water tank level. Ours was apparently full when we got there and it over flowed.

good to know. We were just there in Nov with an ocean view and I was wondering about the pool view rooms. I don't really recall any gardens per se, so I assumed that a garden view would be the parking lot.

Just an FYI - we had the pool "ocean" view once and I was NOT happy. The noise coming from the pool was way too loud.

Another FYI.. our last stay June 2011 we got the room right next to the Green Cabin room. We were tired and wanted so badly to sleep but the lounge singer (sorry for those who like the guy - he didn't sound great to us and we heard him A LOT) could be heard in our room as well as if we would have been IN the Green Cabin room. We tried to switch but they were 100% booked. The best we could do was turn the TV up loud enough to drown him out - but that never allowed us to go to sleep early.

Vero is a wonderful, beautiful resort and we love it - but I would never want a pool "ocean" view room or the one right next to the Green Cabin room.. never ever again.

We had a garden view in Jan and had a view of the front enterence. There is no bad location. We really love Vero and we live at the beach.

We had connecting Garden View Inn rooms last summer on the top floor. If you looked outside you saw the entire resort - extremely lovely! However, turning slightly to the right gave us INCREDIBLE ocean views! Really amazing! We absolutely loved the location and cannot wait to go back. It was just perfect. We felt incredibly lucky to have gotten those rooms.
