Garden Grocer delivery question

Will the Garden Grocer deliver beer to the hotel also?

Yes, they definitely will...providing you are over 21.

You do need to call to place that portion of your order. Last year we placed our order for grocery items on the website and then I called them to add on beer and some other over 21 beverages.

PP is correct. Some people have reported having to fax them a copy of their license before the scheduled delivery as well.

They will deliver beer and wine. Just put the type and quanity of beer that you want in the comment section. I received a phone call from a Gardengrocer employee about the seperate beer order. They did charge my CC for each order the day I ordered it. I was not asked for my ID, but that was a year ago, that might have changed.

I thought they were a great service and got everything right. We also asked for several other items that were not on their web-site, putting those in the comment section as well.

Good to know that they'll deliver beer and such! For those who have used GG, how much money would you say a family would need to spend to make this service worth it?

We spent over $200.00, so the delivery fee was waived. The only additional money spent besides the cost of the groceries was the tip. I thought that the groceries cost was a very good value, not that much higher than our local grocery store. The groceries we ordered was for 8 days at WDW and 3 days at US.

We bought breakfast items, snacks, lunch items, tons of things to drink; water, beer, gatorade, juice and milk.

Depending on the weather when you go, we saved a fortune in getting our drinks ahead of time. July was HOT and between the 4 of us drank 4 bottles of water a piece every day and a bottle of gatorade every day.

Ordering beer ahead of time, saved us a ton too. I can't remember how much a case of beer was, but consider buying a glass of beer for $7 and a can of beer might cost $.75.

We ate breakfast in our room everyday and took a break in the afternoon every day. Sometimes eating a light lunch in our room, but always snacking.

I think Gardengrocer did a great job with our order and will use them again, for sure.
