I have a question in regards to Garden Grill specifically and family style in general. I am thinking about making an ADR for the Garden Grill for me, DH, DD11 and DS9 (3A and 1C). Does my son have to eat what is from the child's offerings or can he share what is on the adult offerings? I would think that family style would be the same as a buffet.

TIA

We went there on our last trip and they bring out a plate of food to share ... and if I remember correctly we did have a child with us, so we had a plate of mac and cheese...... and maybe some other kids choices... I think maybe chicken fingers??

That is no problem! They brought the mac and cheese and chicken strips out automatically with the "adult" food but my boys nibbled on all of it. We had THREE refills of the adult platter!

At 'Ohana, another family style place, they never offered to bring kids food offerings though I know they have them available. Suited us fine anyway because I'd rather the kids not eat the ubiquitous mac and cheese and chicken strips at every meal.

Agreed...just did this with my DW and DD6 two months ago (except we only got TWO refills of the platter :goodvibes )

We LOVE the Garden Grill...enjoy!!! :)

Thanks!!!!!

That is what I thought, but I wanted to make sure before I went ahead and made the ADR.

This isn't exactly what you're asking, but everytime I've gone to the Garden Grill it's been with only people 18 and older and we ask for them to bring out the kids plate as well as the adults and they bring both for us, no extra charge. I love the kids fries and chicken tenders as well as all the adult food. Garden Grill is soo good- I'm eating there in 2 days!!! Woohoo!!!

That is good to know for our future visits because our next trip both kids will be considered adults.

Enjoy your trip!!!
