G+ for Park Hopping?

Morning! I have an Epcot/HS day coming up. Am I able to purchase Genie+ and only use it for HS, the park we will be hopping to?

Yes. When you are choosing LLs for the park you're not starting in, you'll be given times starting after 2pm

I haven’t done it yet, so I only know what I’ve read around here. In order for G+ reservation times (in the park to which you intend to hop) to show up I THINK you have to set up the Genie planner for the day and indicate that you will be going to a different park in the afternoon.

I had not heard that, thought it was just based on park hopper tickets. But I also haven't used so don't know for sure. Might want to ask on the genie strategy thread:

Like I said…..I THINK. I really don’t want to have to bother with the free Genie itinerary nonsense when we go next year, but from that thread I thought I read you had to if park hopping, so Genie knows to offer you times in a different park. I’ll be thrilled if I am wrong about that.

On the tip board you just have to change park to the one you are looking for and then select the lightning lane you want. It won't actually give you one before 2 p.m. for a park you are hopping to.

I did exactly what the original poster is suggesting, starting at Epcot and only booking lightning lanes for Hollywood Studios. It worked great. One thing to keep in mind is you can book your second lightning lane two hours after Hollywood Studios opens.

Yes, you can. G+ is smart enough to start your 'other park' LL reservations after 2PM when park hopping can start. If you wanted to, you could ONLY make LL reservations at a park you want to hop to in the afternoon. There's no requirement you use it for your first park - that might be important since if you make an LL at Park 1, you cannot make another LL until you have tapped into that LL attraction at Park 1, or 2 hours after Park 1 opens.

Yes! I rode 3 attractions with LL at HS then made my 4th at MK before I even left HS.
