FYI - There is NO GAS in Metro Atlanta

This is somewhat off the course in the discussion, but does anyone have information along 95? Thanks for any help on this. We will be driving at the end of the week. Hope this all clears up shortly. We are in NJ and our gas is in the 3 30-3.45 for regular. I saw 3.60 for premium today as well.

Here's a link for GA gas Prices, what I'm finding for our local city is that people will post the current price and then say "out of gas" next to it.

I've seen a few stations here with bags over their pumps. We're on the North side of Columbus GA, route to the beach, Right off I 185. Our Wal Mart was out again this morning, and I saw a Shell at the Intersate exit by my house that was bagged. We're running round $3.99 a gallon for the stations that have gas.

Thanks for posting this- but it's misleading to those of us in Atlanta. I saw three stations on the list that are currently out of gas- I think some of the users are doing drive-bys and posting prices found on signs.

Seven of the eight stations I passed this morning on the way from Roswell (near the Cobb line) to Dunwoody had NO gas, the other just had premium.

Just checked the gas stations at the Chamblee Dunwoody exit off I-285. Verified that I SAW people pumping.

BP- No gas.
Cheveron Line for gas (2 cents a gallon cheaper then anyone else)
Mobil -gas
Union 66 - gas
Shell -gas

Thanks Carol! This is the exit that I stopped at this morning and there was no gas! They must have gotten their expected deliveries :yay:

Wow, I feel for you guys. So far we don't seem to be hurting with the exception of the two stations that I saw that were empty. I was in WalMart this morning and remarked about their station being closed and a girl that works there said that "all the stations" on the main thoroughfare closest to her home were empty. I made sure that I topped off this morning and DH has around 1/2 a tank. Sheesh, this is nuts! Glad we have about 6 weeks to go till our trip :)

ETA, I did read that one problem for you guys in ATL is the fact that they have to use the "cleaner burning" fuel, so they cannot divert "regular" fuel to you. Bummer!
