they are putting up fencing and will be checking magic bands. I’ve seen a lot of questions about the beach this year, so FYI. Need to be a guest.

I’ll attach a picture of the fence if it’s not too big (on way to MK so I can’t resize).

There’s also a new sign in the Poly CL lounge today stating that MBs may be scanned to verify beach and concierge lounge access tomorrow. I haven’t seen anyone scanning bands yet.

Do you know if there is a specific area fenced off for club level guests use only or is the whole area open to all hotel guests and those dining?

Thanks

They actually gave us special red bands we’re suppose to wear to access the events tonight. They were left under our door this morning. Wasn’t sure why, since we all have our magic bands that can be scanned. We’re staying club level—-but not sure if that applies

Does anyone know if access to this area was restricted for the earlier and later fireworks in the 30th or just the ones at midnight? Thanks

Was just at Poly CL this past weekend for 12/30 & 12/31. They had both a section of the beach fenced off for all Poly resort and ADR guests only and a seperate reserved CL section with chairs.

The Poly/ADR guest section was roughly from the resort launch boat dock to the fire pit. The CL section was to the right of this (if facing the castle). All other Poly beach areas were open to anyone.

Happy to answer any questions!

Thanks GAdisneydad. We are booked to stay club level at the poly on the 29th and 30th Dec next year - leaving the 31st and I'm trying to figure out where might be beat to watch the practice new year fireworks. Would you suggest the beach, club lounge or is it worth going into the magic kingdom? I was thinking maybe trying to book the plaza garden view but I the view from the poly is good perhaps we could just stay there? Also do.you know is it possible/worth it to watch the midnight fireworks from the beach and then go into the magic kingdom for extra magic hours till the 2 or 3 am closing? We have two chikdren 8 and 10 who with a sleep during the day would probably be able to tolerate that as a last blast! Also do you know if they do anything special at the resort on the 30th. Sorry for all the questions. This will be our first and probably only trip to wdw so just trying to gather some information to make it go smoothly. Thanks again
