My parents and I are staying in a FW cabin in November. I will be using an ECV and my mom might need one. Is there room for 2 ECVs? How far is the boat launch from the cabins?

The buses are a pain when there are two of you using an ECV. We had several times at POR where the bus already had one person in the wheelchair spot. And, I wasn't very good at getting into the wheelchair spot with my ECV since I normally don't use one. I am able to walk in my normal routine. Just can't handle super long distances.

There is plenty of space for two ECV's in a cabin to maneuver around. The distance from the cabins to the boat launch is LONGGGGG. The cabins are in the very front of the campground and the launch is in the very back. The accessible cabins aren't in the front of the loop and it's actually quite a distance from an individual cabin to the bus stop. It really will be necessary for you to take a bus unless you want to spend lots of time on the walkways.---Kathy

Thanks for the info. A couple more questions, did you have any trouble getting an accessible bus at the cabins? How far is for wilderness lodge from the cabins?
