Future of EMM

I know it’s too soon to know so this is just speculative, but with EEMH being so lightly attended right now do you think Disney will bring back the extra morning magic breakfasts after the holidays?

I hope with Rise of the Resistance opening in early December, they will at least keep some sort of EMH every day at Hollywood Studios. And I hope they open AK and MK at 8 for regular hours instead of 9.

I would be shocked if they didn't offer earlier hours for HS on Dec. 5th. But I am surprised that it hasn't been announced yet. Last week, I did get a notification from Touring Plans that the hours for HS were extended the week of the RotR opening, so the park is now closing at 9PM instead of 8, so I guess that's a good sign?

It's easy money for Disney, so my guess is they will for sure bring it back. I'm wondering if they'll have 2 versions - 2 days a week is SW:GE only and 2 days a week is TSL only. My guess is January.

MK EMM - Sure... only a matter of when.

DHS EMM - I doubt we’ll see an EMM there anytime soon and when/if we ever do, who knows what the format will be.

Sorry I misread the OP as meaning EMH rather than EMM. Curious as to why you don't think they will offer EMM at HS any time soon-this is the ticket EVERYBODY (including me!) would line up to pay for. They could easily charge $300 for it before my purse strings would close!

Here's my thinking (again, just speculation on my part - I obviously know nothing!)....

- RoTR still needs to open and get a few months of operational history going.
- RoTR, and all that SWGE has to offer in general, are sort of long experiences, I'm not exactly sure how those would fit in a limited time EMM-style event (probably one reason they've never offered EMM at Pandora)

Rest assured upcharge mornings and evenings will be coming at some point in some form, I'm sure! lol!

Oooh I hadn’t thought of this. I was hoping to be able to do the Toy Story EMM and have that section of that park done before rope drop but that doesn’t really help them spread crowds around does it? If everyone heads right to GE at rope drop then a toy story EMM actually makes it MORE crowded. But and GE EMM probably couldn’t be really finished in one hour is what you’re saying...

I wonder how any upcharge morning could actually work in HS then?
