What is your silliest or favorite pose that you or someone in your family likes to take either on your own or with photopass? I need some fresh ideas for our june trip pixiedust:

My favorite is of me under the fromt of the autopia car that is in front of Goofy's kitchen and my DD who was 16 at the time is in the drivers seat.

My kids always take a picture with their hands in Mr Toad's mouth (beginning of inside ride line) fake-screaming like he's eating them. 7 yrs of photos so far....

one of my favorite pics of our family is sitting on the tea cup in fantasyland (not on the ride) and we are all acting like it is spinning. We all leaned in one direction and were gripping it and screaming etc. It's really cute.

Walking like a chicken by the chicken crossing sign in Toontown and checking my watch in front of the rabbit by the Alice bathrooms. :goodvibes

These are all so creative. I love it. I'm adding all of these to my list. Thanks and keep them coming!!!

My girls and I do the speak no, hear no, see no evil thing on ToT. It's fun! We've even had others do it after sewing us. It's not at all original, but we like it.

DH once proposed to Daisy and Donald and I looked really mad! We did a conga line with Chip and Dale. We sat at Belle's feet while she read us the Book of Hidden Mickeys. For Cinderella, DH got on his knees with my sneaker like it was a glass slipper and Cindy and I struck swoony princess poses. On ToT DH held on to a Mickey Plush and one of those giant lollypops and looked like a he was a crying 5 year old girl! On Dinosaur he's reading the book Everyone Poops. Sometimes he'll strike a pose like he's sleeping! He's pretty creative but we love taking fun pictures! Honestly, I think the PP photographers and the characters like it too!

We like to do silly pictures, too. Toontown is great for these. We've done one where DS5 is "driving" the car parked in front the gas station and DD12 is holding on the back with a foot in the air like she's trying to stay in the car with a crazy driver.

on Splash Mountain we had black hoodies or black hooded jackets and just put the hood on and flared out the jackets like we were Batman.

A few trips ago all the guys on the trip did a 'muscle man' pose (ala Bowser of Sha Na Na) on ToT. We then ended up doing this same pose on all the rides and whenever we had a PP photographer. We also have one of my brother-in-law and I 'making out' in the back of the elevator. Then there are our old stand-bys, pretending to choke the person in front on Splash, punching the person next to you on Space, and Junior Birdman just about anywhere.

That's completely hilarious! Love it!!!!

I love it when characters are included. These are great!

We are so doing this one. I'll be the one hanging on :rotfl:

When I take a picture my DD12 makes a screaming face no matter what ride she is on. I have pictures of her screaming on carousel horses, splash mountain (not the drop), POTC, PP, Fliks Fliers and my DHs favorite picture her screaming on IASW. (He says that is how it makes him feel). :/

Lots of fun poses! I may steal a few.

I had my sister pose in that basket of fish in DCA (not sure what it's called). She hung limply over the side from the waist down, as though she'd been hauled in with the daily catch. It was not dangerous, she had her feet on the ground (she's tall) and it was funny. That's about my most creative picture.

OH, wait, I also had my sister stand in just the right spot a distance away from the giant wizard hat at the Disneyland Hotel, so that it looks like the hat is on her head. That turned out pretty well.

I'm impressed. I have tried to take the wizard hat shot and it has never worked out very well.

I was going thru old pictures today and remembered the one of Dug and I when I yelled "Squirrel". :rotfl:

For our upcoming trip I'm trying to convince my DD and her BFF that we all need to wear a cone of shame for our next pic with Dug :)

A few fav's

Spash Mountain
- YMCA pose, need 4 participants and if possible your own log
- Back seat chilling pose, picture sitting in a lounge chair during the drop

Space Mountain
- Love going single rider and photo bombing people
- Puke face is my favourite, especially if sitting behind someone

Halloween
- Family picture with Jack and Sally - this goes on our Christmas card
- Mickey pumpkin picture

Kids
- Daughter (6) wears a princess dress to the park at least one day, poses in front of the castle (photographers eat this up and make her go through like 10 poses)
- Son (3) plan to do something similar in a cars or something outfit
- Jedi training in general is great, especially fighting Darth Vader

DCA
- We have the "I'll be your Mickey/Mini" t-shirts so the wife and I try to get a good pose wearing them.

Some of those sound great. I love the one where my husband has his phone out chatting while going down the drop on Splash.

I think if you're going into it with the idea of making a silly ride photo for yourself, then more power to you.

If you're going into it anticipating affecting the photo just for someone else (with no intention of buying the photo yourself), the I think it's wrong. Just enjoy the ride and move along.

With the photo YOU are buying, you obviously find it cute, so go for it. With the photo you are NOT buying, the other people in your ride care may or may NOT find it cute. Why reduce their chances of having a photo they want to buy for nothing?

No one ever buys the photos on space mountain...plus you can zoom on on 2 people easily so they can cut me out no problem. I have even added my own to the photo pass a few times, cutting out the other seats.

One of my favorites from our previous trip was Space Mountain. I'm doing the home alone palms on face screaming pose while my wife looks like she's passed out asleep on my shoulder.
