Funny Photopass Poses

Some of those sound great. I love the one where my husband has his phone out chatting while going down the drop on Splash.

I think if you're going into it with the idea of making a silly ride photo for yourself, then more power to you.

If you're going into it anticipating affecting the photo just for someone else (with no intention of buying the photo yourself), the I think it's wrong. Just enjoy the ride and move along.

With the photo YOU are buying, you obviously find it cute, so go for it. With the photo you are NOT buying, the other people in your ride care may or may NOT find it cute. Why reduce their chances of having a photo they want to buy for nothing?

But what about all those pics of random arms in front of people's faces? They didn't intentionally do that...but for me, I will only ride SM once...so I will take what I can get. The last two trips we rode, you can't see my DH at all because someone had their arms up.

We love to TOT, my favorite one is of my DH "talking" in his cell phone, with his finger up, with the look of "don't interrupt me." LOL.

No one ever buys the photos on space mountain...plus you can zoom on on 2 people easily so they can cut me out no problem. I have even added my own to the photo pass a few times, cutting out the other seats.

But that's just it, people do buy the photos. They wouldn't take them and staff the registers if they were not making month on the operation. Not to mention all the people who purchased a PP+ for the main reason of gathering ride photos. Sure, you can crop the picture but then it looks lame. I second the notion that if there's no intent to keep the photo for yourself, don't ruin it for others with a photo bomb.

I like to ask for the magic shot with the balloons in front of the train station.

I no longer raise my hands when I'm sitting in the front of a car on Space because my face has been blocked by people so many times. Since I usually don't by the picture, I'm just trying to be considerate to the people behind me.

Not true. Prior to PP+ (which we do now), I did buy the picture the first time each of my kids has been tall enough/brave enough to ride one of those rides. Sometimes, the inevitable happens and they get blocked, but to have somebody do intenionally isn't cool. I don't mind "fun" posed ones, but blocking people isn't ok. And for a rider who's just hit 40 inches, it's hard to crop the hands covering his/her face out. We know how to avoid it for the most part on Space & Screamin' (yes I know this is not 40 inches), but we're not always lucky.

Blocking people intentionally would be terrible...I have never seen anyone do that, nor would I ever.

Photobombing is making a funny face in a picture

Yeah had to go on like 4 times in a row for daughter to finally be in a picture with no hands blocking....it happens.

Those ideas are hilarious. Wish some of you would post pics ;)

Yes, I know what photobombing is. If you're doing it to ruin somebody else's picture, I don't think it's cool, but if it doesn't truly affect the picture (or seeing people in it), it doens't really bother me. But I have had people block my children's faces with their photobombing. If you don't block people with it, I'm not really referring to you. Holding up a newspaper in the back row of TOT is different than doing it in the front row.

ETA: Like I said earlier, most of the ones I've seen, I actually find funny and wouldn't mind having them in our picture. I'd just like to be able to see my kids faces :)

My husband pretended to be sleeping while on Californian Screamin, we had the photo pass plus so this is a great photo to add to our collection.

I had a great one of a friend pretending to kiss the goldfish in the gas pump bowl in ToonTown. The fish had turned so it looked like they were kissing.

^^^^THIS^^^^^

I have no issue with people performing and posing for the camera, ( I actually find it funny) but I was completely annoyed with the group on Splash Mountain. They covered my DD face, you couldn't even tell she was on the ride. Since it was her first time down the drop I was really looking forward to catching her expression. :-(

My sister, DH and I all pretended to sleep on each other's shoulders on TOT. It's a great photo which we did because we had PP+ on our last trip to WDW.

We once took a picture on Splash where the first person held an open map of DL while the others behind her pointed to the map & all different directions. We also do hear, see, speak no evil on ToT, and have 'most terrified' or ' silliest' face contest every ride.
