pretty not a fun thing to do to kids.

Jenn- sorry about the week off from work! That sucks!
But on a happier note, here is a X-mas card I found online for you and Sara:

I thought of you 2 when I saw this.
Okay, I'm getting frustrated. I have been to Safeway, Target and Lucky's and I cannot find those little sugar thingys you put on top of cakes or cupcakes. You know the ones when you were little that spelled out Happy Birthday and there were even some character faces. I have looked everywhere and can't find them! Do they just not make them anymore? I wanted to put them on my cupcakes this weekend. Oh yeah by the way ~ cooking weekend at my house! My beignet mix came from Cafe du Monde yesterday so that is for breakfast and then I'm making peanut butter cupcakes w/ chocolate frosting and chocolate cupcakes w/ buttercream frosting and pb frosting. If I can find the candy thermometer, I making these really good caramels w/ sea salt I saw on Barefoot Contessa. Then Sunday it's cookies cookies cookies. Of course most of it will be brought into work, but it's still fun to cook all that stuff!![]()
"Well, don't go putting none of that stuff on my sled Clark. You know that metal plate in my head?"
"Ah! How could I forget?"
"I had to have it replaced, because everytime Cathrine revved up the microwave, I'd pi$$ my pants and forget who I was for about a half-hour or so. So, over at the VA, they had to replace it with a plastic one. It ain't as strong. So, I don't know if I ought to go sailing down no hill with nothing between the ground and my brain but a piece of government plastic."
"You really think it matters Eddie?"
"Well, see the plate runs right underneath the part here. See, over here, nothing. But, here if this gets dented, then my hair just ain't going to look right."
