Fun & Yummy Food Courts ????

I was just thinking about how we all like to visit the different resorts for fabulous TS restaurants ... but I was wondering if anyone ever goes to a resort just to look around and eat CS? Do you know of any fun food courts or really good CS places at the resorts? Have you ever gone to a resort primarily to eat CS? We did go the the Boardwalk from Epcot (via boat) once and had lunch there ( got sandwiches from the bakery, and pizza for the kids ) It was fun ---- and a really nice atmosphere to eat out "on the boards" ... any other suggestions?

Yup! I've eaten at the food court/counter service at GF, WL, CBR, POR, POFQ, Pop, and all 3 All-Stars. I've usually gone to these resorts for pressed pennies as well as to look around. They're all nice, and the values have a really good selection at the food courts. I wouldn't call it fine dining by any means, but for a quick meal and a change of scenery it's fun to do.

Yep! We are planning to have a lite bite at Roaring Forks at WL next week just to check out the resort. It'll be a nice stop on our first day before going to the MK in the evening.

Mara at AKL has an interesting selection, including some of the soups and desserts found at Boma. We've always enjoyed the food at Pop Century, too, and the fact that the gift shop is right next store.
