Great Update!!!

Finding Nemo is one of my favorite Pixar movies as well. I could watch it over and over. We always enjoy the ride in the Seas w/ Nemo and Friends, it's so cool!! I'm so glad you enjoyed Turtle Talk!! It's always so much fun!! I'm sad that we missed it in August.


Great pictures of the WS!!! Love the pictures of Illuminations!! We always seem to miss it--I'm hoping to finally make it next trip!!

Aw..our DVC Mickey! That walkway is really neat at night when you're walking back to your room after a long day at the parks. All the lights just make it seem so serene.

Whew! I have finally caught up again on your TR!

Here's what I have to say:

I LOVE spinning on the teacups! That is seriously one of my favorite rides, you just can't spin super fast w/o getting the giggles, it is so fun!

You want to talk about creepy...have you ever looked at those portraits hanging on the walls in the hall w/ the knocking doors? Those black and white photos of people screaming & stuff are truly frightening, I can't even look at them that long.

There is a hidden mickey that comes out of the smoke in the volcano in Mexico! Our waitress in la Cava de Tequila told us so and I saw it too. There's also a hidden mickey on the Donald boat at towards the end of the ride, its in the corner of the boat & its made from drums or something.

Ugh! I've yet to get to the Boardwalk and I really wanted to this trip. How does it look at Christmas time?

Illuminations is beautiful. I like your (Emma's?) shots when they completely light everything up.

Me too. It's just so cute and there are some great lines in it. We particularly like the one where Dory is like "no eating here tonight, you on a diet!" and then all the names she calls Nemo. haha!

For the longest time we would never go to the night shows because we were always so tired! Hopefully you'll get to see it soon. It's worth it.

We kind of joke about always doing stuff with our family since everyone lives right around here. But it was fun meeting up. And it was interesting hearing about my cousin's internship!

Yeah, the reason I took that picture of the Vikings thing was because right before that we saw some people doing the Kim Possible adventure. Dad was wearing a Packers shirt and the family saw it and said they were from Green Bay. I don't really like Brett Favre either anymore...

Thanks for the compliment on the Illuminations pictures! I think we both got one of the buildings lit up.

I love how all the DVC resorts have something like that Mickey. At the Beach Club it's an Ariel statue and at Saratoga Springs there's a horse with the DVC logo.

Aww I love Illuminations and the WS. Illuminations is so beautiful, when the drums start at the beginning I get the chills. And walking around the WS, especially in the evening right before it gets dark is so peaceful.

We ate at ESPN club in April. The food was only so so and we ate sitting up at the bar so we didnt have to wait on that line. I'd say that if you ever go there and there is a long line, wait on it because the bartender was inattentive almost to the point of it being rude! Probably because we werent buying 6 and 7 drinks each like the guys at the other end of the bar Anyway, just a tip, wait to actually get seated there! LOL

Nah, it's ok! Christmas is one of the best times to visit plus I know there are a couple other people reading this TR who are going in December so that'll help get them in the spirit (a couple months early!)!

I sat by myself, waiting for the British Invasion, and one of the "missions" ends up back in that area. Your beeper goes off, when the Mission is complete", but that reduntant beeper drove me crazy.

Like the picture of the ESPN zone, that place always has a line. It was also the first place, that I ever attended a DIS meet.

jwwi: Thanks, I had a great time. We loved the MNSSHP, it was a warm evening, but we wore really simple costumes.

That's cool you rented the TSM game! It is a lot of fun, probably even moreso because of the ride. My mom called on Saturday while they were in line for TSM and called right after they got off...I think she liked it but she said she stunk.

Was it your Mom's first time riding TSM? I think it gets easier the more times you ride. Did you go see TS/TS2 3D? I went today, it was so much fun to see the movies on the big screen. A very fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

I'm glad you liked the WL too! Bummer you didn't make it over to the Villas though.

I really loved the WL, our room was very close to the pool. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I am fortunate to visit often. I esp loved the boat ride to MK

I can't believe the Brewers are done now! We were at the second to last home game (when they played the Phillies) which was exciting. I think they won the last 5 games we went to...we saw a lot of walkoff wins in those games! I still miss last season, especially since it was right around this time last year we were going to the postseason rally and the first home game. On the bright side Marquette Madness is next Friday night so basketball season is right around the corner.

It was fun to go to postseason games last year. Hopefully we won't need to wait so long to make it into the postseason again. I am excited for college BB to start again.

As for the game tonight...I am so nervous! But hopefully the Packers can stick it to Brett Favre.

Too bad about the game last Monday, I honestly could not even watch. I just didn't have a good feeling about it. Maybe the outcome will be better when MN plays in GB.

Yeah, it does seem like the ESPN Club is always busy. The night we were there the Red Sox and Yankees were playing so there were a ton of people watching that game.

MNSSHP is so much fun. One of the best parts is seeing all the costumes!

Yeah, it was my mom's first time riding and it does seem to get easier once you've done it a couple times. The triggers are a lot easier to use compared to the ones on Buzz Lightyear. And we sure did go see TS1/2. It was great! Can't wait for TS3.

I hear ya on staying longer. But just like you said atleast we get to go a lot. Funny how that happened because when I was a junior or senior in high school and took a trip Dad said we probably wouldn't be able to go as much. hahahaha

The playoff game was a blast last year. The energy/excitement level was amazing. I'm ready for basketball season too...Marquette Madness is only a week away! I have a feeling it could be a rough year for us though.

In all honesty I didn't see too much of the Packer game either. The game in GB should be interesting.

The Boardwalk is really cool when it's all lit up. I just love the whole atmosphere at night...I could sit on a bench and people watch for hours.

I still have 2 more days to go on my TR and will definitely have a new update by tomorrow since there's NO SCHOOL!!!!
