"Fun Spots" Any ideas?

My wife & I are heading down to WDW for a final trip before our APs expire. 18 -23 Jan. Probably won't return for a few years.

Looking for some fun spots to try out. Things like the Dance hall at the Boardwalk we've been there before and liked it. We hear Jellyrolls is fun and will probably try this. Although we are not big drinkers we still will go to bar like places and drink non alcoholic drinks(sometimes an occasional real drink) if they are fun places. We've also heard there is a place at Port Orleans that is some type of fun piano entertainment? Not sure if it is a show or part of a bar or just an extra pass by thing?

We will do some of our favs in the parks. We have reservations at Yachtsman, Les Chefs and Tony's. We will do the Wild Africa Trek at AK. Much of the trip will be relaxing at the resort. SSR. Been to Disney several times but we know we have passed over many fun spots we are unaware exist.

Any ideas appreciated!!

I guess there is not that many "funspots" around WDW??

oh there are lots of funspots.... it is basically one big funspot! lounges, restaurants, views,shows....shopping.....

if you are wanting to just soak it in one last time before you go away for a few years....i would suggest

-An evening at Disney Springs
-Jelly Rolls is fun, but you needs to be in a "piano bar" mood. Cocktails help.
-A happy hour at Misners Lounge at the Grand Floridian.

Trader Sam's at the Poly is a tiki bar but a lot of fun. Yee Haw Bob is also really fun. We really like Jelly Rolls. Also we enjoy hanging out at La Cava in Mexico. Of course, we like the margaritas there.

Thanks! I'll investigate these!! We are not bar rats but if it's fun or interactive / entertaining type place - we go and just pretend we're bar rats.

I hear of a lot of these type places but when I try to research I usually forget the name or have trouble finding info! Thanks for the names!!

I was going to suggest going to see Yeeha Bob at POR. He is there Wednesday-Saturday and performs 8:30 to 11:45. Super fun show! We typically stop down a few times while we are on vacation.

Sounds like fun! I'm sure we'll give it a whirl!! My wife and I are trying to scout some fun places for our trip and for future trips with others.

I look forward to see any others favorite "Out of the way" fun spot!!
