Fun facts

Disney's Wedding Pavilion alter was designed to provide the bride with a view of Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom.

On Tom Sawyers Island in "Harpers Mill", you hear creaks and groans of the mill wheel as you walk thru. You may have to walk thru more than once, but the creaks and groans actually play the song
"Down by the Old Mill Stream".

If Space Mountain breaks down, ride the People Mover. Most likely the lights will be on in Space Mountain, you can see everything, the entire ride looks like steel spaghetti. If you take pictures of this, just remember that your camera is subject to confiscation.( altho they didn't take my camera)

You may never see Disney Security walking around, but they are there, in plain clothes, and they are called Foxes.
The "undercover" security personnel are known as "foxes". There are usually 2 or 3 working at any given time. They can be found at all three WDW Theme Parks and I assume the same can be said for the DL, DP, & TD. Their main area of operations are the shops and stores located throughout the parks. They are trained to spot shoplifters and work in conjunction with uniformed security personnel. Also, they are equiped with security radios, usually kept in the "tourist" type bag they are carrying. The "fox" position is reserved for seinor members of security and is a much coveted position. In order to blend in with the crowd they wear "vacation" clothes, much more desirable than the miserable security costume.

I've seen them but didn't know they had a name. In the morning when we're at the MK bus area waiting around for our buses, we see them. They stand out like a sore thumb to us because, there they are, sitting alone on a park bench looking like a tourist. Being there as much as we are, we notice things that aren't quite normal. What do they do? I guess the average guest wouldn't notice them though.

Alas Frank, not any more. Since SM was remodeled, Wed-Way riders can no longer see the inside of the mountain. They've walled it off.

Yeah, some peoples (like me) were not very happy about it either! :headache:

Unless they've added something since the end of May; part of the "wall" is actually a black mesh fabric that, if the lights are on for repairs, you can partially see through....but I doubt a picture would be possible.

BTW: I'm glad to see them calling it the "People Mover" again.

:thumbsup2

That aerial shot is cool----I was thrown a big league curveball by a castmember.

I am a hidden Mouse person. I was told the biggest hidden Mickey was the Old MGM theme park, before the Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror.

You could see the face and the ears from above. Like in an airplane.

Is there another Hidden Mickey out there, even bigger ?????????????

a wake-up call in the language of their choice. (Well, all resorts except a campsite at FtW. That will come with the new 3000 loop.)

The otters will ride around your loop in a golf cart with an air horn for a couple of beers. They are unpredictable though - the wakeup call will come between 3am and noon.

Kinda just seems like half the fun of gett'n a wake up call in a nother country would be not to get a wake up call in your language,,:confused3
just my opinion.

UNLESS, of course the call was made from Mickey Mouse, :woohoo:

# Tony’s Town Square: Paw prints of Lady and the Tramp outside of the porch on the sidewalk.

Hall of Presidents: Bill Clinton is the only president to wear a Mickey Mouse tie.

Center Street off of Main Street: go to the end of the street and listen carefully, you can hear tap dancing and singing lessons going on upstairs

Haunted Mansion: As soon as you enter the graveyard, you go under a tall gate, if you look really hard, at the top left-center portion of the gate, there is a paper tag. This is the original purchase tag from California, they forgot to remove it, and it is still there today!
