Frustrated with Luau ressie

Darn it. We are finally staying at the Poly after years of value and moderate resorts. This is a big deal for us. While I'm grateful for being able to go at all, I was hoping to experience the Luau while staying there. Not a chance. Been trying since my booking window, crossing fingers for a cancellation and spreading Pixie dust like mad but nuthin. Still hoping a CM will be able to offer us something if we beg upon check in lol.

I know you realize this, but just keep trying. For us it is rare to get shut out completely. Maybe we are just lucky, but something usually will open up for us eventually if I keep trying. Best of luck, and enjoy the vacation!

Have you done this dinner show before, it isn't a luau. I just would hate for you to be upset over not going because you wanted to experience an actual luau at the Poly while you were there. I would chose to eat at Kona or Ohanas any day over the spirit of aloha dinner show. If you have and want to go again or already knew this then keep checking the ressie line every morning. I have gotten CRT doing that before.
Are you on the dining plan? How I understand it they only have certain seats for certain levels of the dining plan and then OOP dining as well. Try and call without giving them your ressie and see what you get, it may be worth a try.
