Frozen singalong--better than I expected

if they are first grade or younger, then I would say it's a MUST DO... It's very engaging for the children b/c the songs break it up.
Yes, they're 4 & 5. I'm excited now because I was kind of struggling with age appropriate attractions at DHS that would interest them. Thank you!

We saw it early in a trip (we see most new things but being Frozen and having a girl it was a must do) - didn't quite drag DH but it was close - he went along to humor us. We all LOVED it - and (OK Disney confession here - try not to judge) we see it 4 or 5 times a trip....yes, we really really enjoy it.

I'm really kind of tired of Frozen to be honest, but we were there for Frozen Summer last June and did the sing-a-long for the heck of it (we were of out of any other interesting FP choices thanks to tiering ;) ) The show was so fun! Not the singing along part, but the characters were humorous and I loved the "surprise" at the end! Definitely better than expected.

Just recently back and we went with our two young adult sons - both were very pleasantly surprised with show and with wit of 2 lead CM hosts. All the little ones singing at the top of their lungs and doing all the hand / arm motions are so cute.

My son is a huge Frozen fan. Star Wars is his favorite, but Frozen comes in a close 2nd. I can't even begin to count the number of times we have seen the show. It never gets stale. Different historians make for different shows. So if you see one of the 1st 5 shows of the day then go see one of the last 5, it will be a bit different!

I'll admit, I like the movie Frozen, I like the music. But I was hesitant to do the Frozen singalong at DHS because I thought it would just be song leaders leading the audience in the songs. Was I wrong! It is a neat little show, with two surprisingly engaging characters (whose names escape me at the moment). They were funny, making pokes and jokes at the songs and the frozen characters just enough to be entertaining. And it was kinda neat hearing all those little voices from the audience singing at the top of their lungs. A mass choir of sorts.

We love it too !! The royal historians are Eric and Aria --- if you get the Eric with the short v
Ack hair, you're in for a real treat !! He's great ! He also plays "Patch" ( or one of them anyway) in the "Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage" -- extremely funny guy !!

What is it about Frozen that(still) draws so many people in Frozen is not going away anytime soon I think. In MK while standing on Main St watching Celebrate the Magic after the fireworks, many people were streaming out. When the Frozen part came on lots of people stopped to watch and sing along.

Me and DH went to see it in Feb and I was amazed at how many people were there. DH slept through most of it, I sang along. One of the funniest moments in all of our Disney trips - there was a pre-teen boy sitting in front of me. When I started singing along he turned around and looked at me and promptly put his earbuds in to listen to something other than my singing . I wasn't insulted at all, I know I can't sing and he reminded me of how my own DS might act at me singing in public:laughing:.

I think we got this royal historian, too, when we went in April. I youtubed the show when we got home, and the different male cast member was funny, but not as funny as this Eric. He went on and on about the Disney dead parents riff when we were there - think he threw in the Fox and the Hound, and Lilo and Stitch, and the other movies mentioned above - the theater was in stitches! My husband couldn't stop telling everybody how funny it is, especially our friends who are going later this month.

Be aware of too perfect eyebrows guys :p

This show is hilarious!

Would that be your Eric in my avatar picture?

I've been twice and also enjoy it. I love the dead-parents-in-Disney-movies gag, and the "Hans is so dreamy!" stuff. I kinda sing along, on and off, until they get to my favorite song, and then with a big grin, I'm belting out: "When life gets rough, I like to hold on to my dream, relaxing in the summer sun just lettin' off steeeeeam..."

This show is pure and simple Disney Magic! A beautiful theater, great story, fun gags for the adults, lots of smiles for the little ones and a wonderful surprise at the end. My kids don't go ga-ga for princesses anymore. But in March we were all 3 belting out every song with ginormous grins. . . And then the end!! Great stuff. Highly recommend, even for a somewhat jaded teen set.

Is it aimed mostly and young girls? I have two teenage girls that in general don't care for all the Frozen hoopla. If its not overly little girl style they might enjoy it. Same goes for the upcoming Frozen ride.

Do your girls love to sing at the top of their lungs? My daughter is always singing in the car and she requested that we do this last week. She is 22. She loved it! Actually, we all did. It was well done.

We got the one who had a silverish colored hair if I recall. Absolutely hilarious. I went in with low expectations and without those two CM's, the show would have been a nightmare for me(DS would have liked it no matter what as long as they sprayed the bubb..I mean snow at the end)

There were a couple younger girls who were not only singing but also miming Elsa and Anna's movements during the songs. I was glad to have a boy at that point...lol

My wife and I saw the show last month for the first time and loved it. This is what Disney does so well. They make a show that kids and adults will both enjoy. The jokes from the royal historians are so funny.

Same boat here. Two adults, not really Frozen fans*, but very enjoyable. We would probably see it again eventually, but certainly not an every trip thing.

* We do finish each other's... sandwiches.

Highly recommend. As a family of 2 60 yr old adults, we enjoy the movie, the show, and just watching all the little kids sing along. The performers are hilarious. Well worth a stop over when you have done all the BIG rides.
