3. How many Disney Cruises have you been on?We have been on 4 other DCL cruises, 1999 4 night (Magic), 2009 7 night Western Carb. (Magic), 2010 NYE Eastern Carb. (Wonder), 2011 MR (Wonder)

5. What will you be reading on the cruise (Ha.. if you have time to read?) I will have my kindle with lots of books. I like to escape sometimes and just read. Just finished reading Gabby
6. Coffee or Tea drinker or Neither? Why? I love Tea, but drink coffee. I prefer Ice Tea in the Arizona Heat
7. How are you getting to Seattle? DH and DD will be taking a road trip from Arizona to Seattle, I will fly to meet them there
8. Plans in Seattle before or after the cruise? Will be spending it at DMIL house for the week after the cruise and hoping for some nice weather to enjoy the green green areas, Woodland park Zoo, Green Lake
9. What are you most looking forward to on this cruise? Seeing Alaska. Since we have been on the boat before, we are not going to worry about the shows or meals
10. How do you plan to stay warm on the cruise? Layer and not forgetting gloves or hat.
11. Any Cruise inside information you want to know about or that you know and would be willing to share with the group?For Adults, do Palo's Brunch it isn't something you should miss and only on Sea Days. For Families with young kids, so the Family Tea, which is with Characters
12. Favorite Food/ Dessert (are you a foodie and looking forward to eating on the cruise)? I love food and will try anything
13. Do you want to participate in FE? Still thinking about it. But DD wants to do it

Hi Barbara, Just a chance to get to know each other before the cruise. We can schedule a DIS meet on the cruise. Most of the other ones I have been on, we have done a DIS meet at 3pm on Embarkment day, in the promonode lounge on Deck 3. This seems to work the best. Gives folks enough time to get Lunch, check out the ship, get in their room and settle and then meet before the muster Drill and the Sail Away party. I am not familiar with Alaska cruises to know if they do the same thing as the warmer weather cruises.

Wow! So much chatting while I've been away! (I've been up to my eyeballs with my ds' school, it looks like I'm going to have to homeschool for the rest of the year, not exactly in my plans, ugh). Nice to see the newcomers here!

Btw, what are Advantures By Disney? I won't be getting any emails from DCL, this was booked under my mother's email. Will I be missing anything important????

Hi Cagirl767. We are just down the road from you. We were in Phx yesterday for a trip to IKEA. A long way to go for a desk for my DD.

Are you getting any wind up there today? They are saying watch out for those that drive between Tucson and Phx and they saying hugh dust storms.

Adventures by Disney (ABD) is an add on you can do that is your own tour group that they manage everything for you. If you do a search on Adventures by Disney and Alaska Cruise, you will find information. The only problem is the cost High... ~$1900/person (They only do excursions at 3 ports)

But am seriously thinking about it.

5. What will you be reading on the cruise (Ha.. if you have time to read?) Don't know... I've never gotten through more than a few chapters
6. Coffee or Tea drinker or Neither? Why? Hot tea and ice tea. Coffee is too bitter (even the sugary stuff like mocha)

Hmm... for the newbies if you want to enjoy the pool on embarkation, bring your suits and change of clothes as carry-on. Sometimes your luggages take a long time to be delivered to your stateroom
