Frozen Fireworks: Alaska on the Wonder July 2, 2012

We always send a box to our state room when we leave from Port Canveral. Its much easier to send snorkel stuff instead of packing it.

So I put a 20x20x20 box full of jackets and winter stuff, just in case we need it.

HOLY COW!!! $82 to send UPS ground NJ to Seattle. Hopefully the hotel doesnt loose the box. Wish I could have sent it to Disney and have it arrive in our stateroom like Florida.

Very new to this forum. Our family of 4 will be sailing. DD 14, DD 12 and DH.
Anyone else signed up for the the Disney Adventure add on?

Welcome! We are not doing the add on, though it looks like it would be wonderful.

I booked a couple of spa services today. I wasn't planning on having any this go around. Who was I kidding! I've got a hot stone massage right after the muster drill. And for later in the week... exotic rasul

Welcome Cocoa23! We wanted to do the ABD add on, but just could not swing it, since they could not guarantee what my DD10 would be doing in Ketichan (since she is under 60lbs). You will have to let us know afterwards what you thought. I heard there are some great things the provide you on your adventure.

We will be doing the same thing in Juneau with you, probably just not on the same seaplane.

I also booked some spa services.. Really just something to do on the sea day for DH. He plans to take full advantage of the rainforest room.

BTW... I booked the High Tea for Tracy Arm day and not realizing we hit the Glacier at the time of the tea. We are not sure if we will still keep the tea at that day. IN Nov one of our servers told us it was a great view and really nice to have the tea during that time. Just hate that we have to be dressed for Palo's and then if we want to rush out to see the glacier we will be freezing in our nice dress for the tea. Oh well. It will be vacation and I will not stress..

Wow, that came too fast. I'm not ready!!!:hyper:

Ha!. I hear you. I have one suitcase on the way up to Seattle as we speak on a road trip with DH and DD. I have no idea what I packed in that, to even know what I need to put in my other suitcase to head up with me.

Fish Extender Gifts just got sent in the mail yesterday to arrive at DMIL house so DH and DD didn't have to worry about them in the car.

I think we might be bring too much stuff. But it wouldn't be vacation if I didn't over pack :rolleyes1

We always pack, too much, but we don't know it until we get home. Who knows, we might need that kitchen sink!!!

Add me to the evergrowing list of newbie, first time cruising ever on July 2! We (DH, myself, and DS (8)) just booked a week and half ago!

Welcome Cocoa and Kerry.

Yep, hard to believe we're in the final countdown. My dog/housesitter just came and got orientation today and I booked my transportation. Speaking of uhem...."overpacking" glad we have a driver meeting us inside the airport, hope he plans on helping carry luggage! The car company asked how much luggage we had and said, "well, uh, you'll need that SUV instead of a towncar" :rotfl:

Thank you Lucky1 keeping up on all the helpful links!

Hey everyone!! It's been a looooong time :rolleyes1 since I posted...been lurking every now and again just swamped and no time to post! Like so many others we are in AZ...and can't wait to get on that boat and away from the heat!! :cool1: Feeling WAY behind...normally at this point I'm just finishing up last minute things, printing magnets ets. This time around still researching and planning. oops:confused3
Didn't I see where others are staying at the Sheraton? We'll be there the 30th.
Made a huge effort last year to simplify and declutter so didn't sign up for the FE...I'm usually the one running it lol ANYWAY...have a bag full of goodies I bought (always planning for the next cruise lol) mostly stuff for the kiddos (princess, cars etc). Would love to spread the pixie dust so if you want to PM me your cabin number and ages of the kids DS and I would love to leave a surprise in your FE!
Also plotting how I can get my Zumba fix onboard as there are no classes:eek: I am instructor so 2 days with no Zumba is usually enough of a break lol lol...so if you see some crazy lady on the sports deck one morning dancing by herself...yep, that's probably me lol

Melissa - I'll zumba  This heat is driving me crazy! Can't wait for some NW and Alaska cool. My SIL posted that it was 55 and raining in Seattle on the last day of school. I will take that over this 108 degrees in AZ.

Yay Laura!! Now all we need are speakers to plug my ipod into and we have us a Zumba party!!! lol :dance3: Are you down in the valley by any chance?? Heading to Glendale (I'm in No AZ) for a big Zumba event tomorrow night...open to the public...just sayin' :rolleyes1
I know I may be in the minority but I love the rain!! so I won't be bothered at all and yes....just grateful to be out of the desert for awhile

I've never done Zumba.
Don't know if my ankle would hold out, but I wouldn't mind giving it a try.

No, I am in Southern AZ. I agree Rain will be a nice change.

My DH has been lurking and briefing me on what he is learning about this cruise. He and I are bringing our DS (17), DS (15), DS (13) and DD (7) on this bucket list adventure with ya'll! So Excited!
I'm curious, anyone know if they will be showing Brave on our Frozen Fireworks sailing?
