My husband, an EXTREME claustophobe, is even agreeing to fly to FL. We usually motorhome everywhere. He knows how badly I wanted to do this. I will have to get him some valium before we fly, lol. WELCOME to all the newest 'bookees'! Autodoc, nice to see another '08 WBPC cruiser. On our old thread...which is still going strong...there's a bit of a contest to see how many of us have booked this cruise or the LA-Vancouver/1st Alaska combo.

I kept the theme on mine that was the title of the thread and so I will spill my "graphic" I am so not an artist but Im trying. It's very rough right now so I need help cleaning it up but working on it.

I have both castles with thier respective princess in front of them. I have Cinderella with a pillow (current graphic I could find) with the Wonder in miniature on the pillow presenting it to Sleeping Beauty. It is intended to look as tho she is presenting it as a gift. Hence the WDW to DL with love that I kept.

Oh, even if this doesn't get chosen, it would make great t-shirts for all the little princesses on the cruise!

Hello - we're another newbie family to cruising and are taking the plunge on the pc cruise - looking forward to learning lots about preparing for the cruise and what to expect - have already learned so much from lurking on these boards the past few weeks!!!

We are WDW/DVC veterans and have been to DLR in CA and in Paris but it has been our dream to do the Fl/CA Disney bookends so we jumped on this cruise...We are booked in an Oceanview cat. 9c and joining me will be my DH and our DS who will be 4 when we sail...this pc cruise group looks like a lot of fun - looking forward to chatting with everyone to help us get through the long wait!!!

First, They will not be allowing deck chairs in what they concider prime viewing areas. You will feel like a sardine in the front of the ship. Also I love the WONDERfull homecoming idea. Third I was wondering how many late night people we have?

Hi everyone! So super excited for this cruise. There will be myself 28, and my dh 34 that will be joining everyone on this cruise. Look forward to travelling with all of you. This will be our third disney cruise and 4 cruise overall. I would also enjoy participating in the fe fun! Have a great day!

Talked to Jeff last night and he's onboard for the list and hopefully whatever else we need for webspace. On the 2005 WBPC cruise, we did have a list with pictures, so that's not a problem. I'll have him post specs for the pics for those of you who can photo-edit ahead of time. Don't worry if that sounds like Greek to you and you have no idea how to do it, either Jeff or I can do it for you.
I do like the Wonderful Homecoming phrase, you can do so much with it.
This is going to be a wonderful cruise...

I am a night owl...on the EB PC we usually went to whatever variety show they had and then moved over to the bar when things go tot loud with the band after the show....lots of fun!

See we will close Wavebands every night. Will even go to the drink station after the bar closes to make our own drinks. That is a lot of fun. On the Westbound Panama in 08, we were able to do after hour drink with the sign interipters. They were so cool.

Don't forget about the new Outlook!! I think we should have a DIS sleepover in the new Outlook the night before the PC crossing. I'm cruising 11/29 so I'll take pictures and let you all know how big it is.

Being a California girl, I am also a night owl (at least I'll be one the first few days of the cruise when it will be midnight in Florida and my body will think it is 9).

Ah yes. But as this should beva enclosed area, it may be closed. Also remember how upset DCL was about people sleeping in line for pins in 05. I thought it was fun and had acgreat time. From what I heard the head of DCL and the captian were not that happy. We will see. I will be in my room and wake up when I wake up.

We too, don't know anyone else as we've haven't been on a Disney cruise! And I agree, Lindababe, it is wonderful that you have offered to organise FE.

We are interested in the FE but we were wondering how it works with so many people/famillies and how people fit the gifts into their suitcases!

Hi All, count us in on the PC cruise. We just switched over from the Magic Christmas cruise two weeks before to spend 15 nights on the Wonder. And, it's actually $1500 cheaper!
Joe, age 55, Tenya, age 50, and Carly age 17 and a high school junior. We're able to make this cruise because Carly is homeschooled.
This will be our 5th DCL cruise, the 1st on the Wonder and we are very excited to cross the Panama Canal.
Love the FE and some of the other fun things. I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Quick question from a someone cruising with a kid and having no clue about the clubs. Jack is listed online as only being eligable for Flounder's. He'll be 3.5 at sailing. I didn't realize that 3.5 year olds were even eligible for Flounder's. Any idea what's going on?

Maybe the system hasn't adjusted yet? He should be in the club and not Flounders. Hmmm. Perhaps it will readjust closer to sailing?

Hi Tenya, my DD will be 17 too. I hope there will be some more older kids traveling.. My DD is taking AP classes that year and I will need to sign a contract and Home school her for the cruise. DH thinks the school will have a fit and he is right...But DH doen't want to cruise the PC and we do what better way to see PC and hang out with Mickey.

We are interested in the FE but we were wondering how it works with so many people/famillies and how people fit the gifts into their suitcases!

You pick small stuff! Actually..I had all different size stuff but we started on the ship here in Los Angeles so I will have to rethink. A lot of guests brought pens, stickers, all sorts of stuff. We had over 150 cabins on EB PC in 2008... What I did was bring everything in one suitcase and when it was empty...I used it for my souvineers home!

My DD is homeschooled as well which is why we can go on this cruise. Even before she was HS we took her out but since she went to a private school they couldn't say much.
