Funny, I seen the ups van yesterday across from mum and she said, wonder if our docs are here, I said, nah way too early, werent you last to get yours for the ta crusie?
You know I noticed it was at 45 days that my cabin got changed, Lynne

A Fedex van came outside our house gate yesterday and was there about 5 minutes. I was sure the documents were coming. John even got out of his chair ready(because he is soooo excited ) We could hear boxes being tossed around in the van. But, they went away again without calling. They were here again before 7.45 this morning. I am wondering if they couldn't find our docs yesterday so went off!!!

Yes, I think we were one of the last to get our TA docs Lynne. We are usually among the first though.

Just come online to book harry potter tickets for tonight, I really dont like the cinema,( I cant stand the numptys I always seem to get around me!coughing,eating and or talking,one girl had her feet on my chair that was behind me last time,there was a very swift STOP put to that!) len usually takes shaunie, but seems he is not cool enought to take her anymore
Anyhow, he would go himself, I felt like such a cow when he said not to worry he would go himself, so were going tonight.

Happy Friday all! Any die-hard shoppers amongst us? I for one, slept right through all the 4:00AM deals as whatever they were, I didn't need them that badly. We had a great time at my brother's for dinner yesterday - they put out a grand spread.

Des - to you. Hopefully whatever it is will go away and stay away.

Harole Anne - how awesome are those results?? Just wonderful.

Murphy will be at the Rainbow Bridge, I am just sure of it. I have a few to see when I get there myself.

I am sure I missed more to hugs and joy to those that need it.

Documents already? I do need to call and have them sent to Tampa as I really do not think we will have them by 12/21. So much for that completed list.

Die hard shopper? Not me, my time and sleep is worth more than the few dollars I can save on most items, lol. Unfortunately, I did have to get up at 4:30 to take my DIL to work, but it was back to bed for me.

Wow...fantastic news! Was there anything exciting in the packet? Our last cruise document set was uninspiring except for the luggage tags! I remember our excitement of getting the 'big' envelope! Will now watch the street for UPS!

We loved HP7.1, though it is L-O-N-G! Hope you enjoy it and don't have the crowd issues -- we're really spoiled with movies at home (we had a family at HP7.1 that talked throughout it, ugh "who is that? what does that mean? think something will happen next?"...so I 'shhhhhh'd' them!)

Quick question (and forgiveness if it's been previously asked & answered)...

From those on the previous PC cruises, what is the Custom Allowances? I know they vary based on the ports -- we've done Eastern & Western and could bring back different alcohol amounts b/c of the USVI port. Just planning ahead on how much room to leave in the extra suitcase!!

My DM smokes, but I refuse to purchase cigarettes for her habit/disease! However, my dear ex-boss is a cigar man and I have brought him some treats!

But only $600 worth of these items may come from the Caribbean country(ies); any amount beyond $600 will be dutiable unless you acquired it in one of the insular possessions.

For example, if you were to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands and Jamaica, you would be allowed to bring back $1,200 worth of merchandise duty-free, as long as only $600 worth was acquired in Jamaica. (Keeping track of where your purchases occurred and having the receipts ready to show the Customs inspectors will help speed your clearing Customs.)

If you travel to any of the Caribbean countries listed above and to countries where the standard personal exemption of $400 applies - for example, a South American or European country - up to $400 worth of merchandise may come from the non-Caribbean country. For instance, if you travel to Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago, your exemption is $600, only $400 of which may have been acquired in Venezuela

Thanks Linda!! Sounds like the Custom Allowances Code was written by the same guy who wrote the IRS code I have my CPA designation and still rely on Turbo Tax!!

Afternoon all. I am totally amazed at the difference a few weeks has made in DMIL - amazing. She is so much more her old self and was awake for our entire visit this morning. Now our afternoon visit was during her nap but I am just so pleased from this morning (and last night too actually) that I can hardly stand it.

No shopping as yet on my horizen yet though. Maybe we will venture out this evening or tomorrow. DH is going back to see his mom and watch the OSU/UofM game tomorrow so mom and I can play.

Cruise docs - bet I missed my window to have them sent somewhere else. I will have to try and remember to call tomorrow and see if I can re-route them. Otherwise we will be picking up luggage tags at the port.
