Send him a list when you have a good amount of people. (That can be at your descretion). And just email him updates as you see fit. (Maybe every week or 2).

No problem As far as the post-cruise, I can keep that too. Just let me know.

Also, do you think I should include the dates or just the hotel? I think just the hotel will be sufficient since I would guess meets would take place on the 5th but let me know if you think otherwise.

I would go for dates as well.

My friend at work,her grand dad was a dentist, she is always telling me stories about her grandad.

We're staying at Bay Lake the night before the cruise... If anyone wants to volunteer to create lists of who is staying where the night before the cruise for meets, I'm sure Jeff can put them up on the website.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing in bed last night at 2am, sometimes I wonder about myself.

Sherri, that sounds like a good idea. I was going to also suggest that I would be willing to make a spreadsheet up of the FE staterooms who've signed up as of November 6, and I could email that to anyone else who also wants to use that as their cutoff if they want one. I am in the same boat as you (no pun intended ; ) in that I cant wait much longer to get stuff since the holidays and several birthdays I have around the December/January time will be occupying much of my time very soon, so I want to wrap up FEs before that. I also do like putting my screen name and first name on my FE gifts because I think its cool to share who its from and I like knowing who left me other gifts as well, although I know some people do anonymous of course I appreciate those gifts just as much : )

Carmie, thanks for offering to get a list together for the pre-cruise hotels we're staying at! We are staying at CBR but I'll PM you as per your request for your formal list. Are we also going to keep a list of post-cruise hotels as well, in case we want to catch up once more before leaving CA?

We are meant to be staying at my cousins, unfortunatly he had a very mild stroke(he is 38) it turns out he has a hole in his heart that caused a thrombus, anyway, I am very worried about him, we all love him and are very worried, he is out hosp now but going back in next week for heart surgery , not sure if our plans will be changing or not.
And THAT ladies and gentlemen is the reason I dont sweat the little things in life.

That is good news. We loved Clayton as Cruise Director on our Western Caribbean cruise last year. Did he say anything regarding whether he will be Cruise Director or Assistant Cruise Director?



I would not mind an excuse for another trip to Edinburgh.

Lynne, I am so sorry to hear about your cousin and you are absolutely right, I don't sweat the little things in life, either. I hope everything works out for him. My sister has had two open heart surgeries to repair a hole and replace a valve. If you saw her out and about today you would never guess she had any health problems, I wish the same for your cousin.

I waved at you last Sunday from the sailaway party on the Wonder. We had a fantastic, relaxing, do nothing cruise. Tom was the first one down the Pelican Plunge on Castaway Cay day, but I had to be satisfied with top 20, because I had to take a picture of him coming down the slide. Can't wait to do more sliding in January.

Just a reminder for everyone in Central Florida who may be interested. The Groupon deal is only good for about 3½ more hours.

If anyone is interested, there is a deal on Groupon for Orlando this weekend for half price admission to Dinosaur World in Plant City. It's $4 for kids and $6 for adults. I thought this might be a good idea for a meet that is a little more centrally located between Orlando and Tampa (although a little closer to Tampa). We would just have to figure out when would be the best time. My family is able to do just about any Saturday except for the one after Thanksgiving. Let me know what you think. Everyone would have to make the purchase by the end of the day tomorrow to get the discount.

Since there are so many experienced cruisers on here I was hoping to get some info that Disney would not help with. What has been your experience with when you find out your stateroom number when you have a GTY room? Disney just said "any time" which doesn't help much? Has anyone been GTY until they checked in at the terminal? That would be very inconvenient for planning the room tours/FE etc.

Our experience has always been right around the 45 day mark give or take a day. That is also when free upgrades have appeared on our reservation.

Had a wonderful time starting to get to know Desiree, Richard & Tori (A Little Pixie Dust) , Marie & Kevin (Luvin all Disney), Suzan & Tony (Sumeto), Melissa & Mikayla (DCL Travler), Monica (& son whose name I never got), getting reacquainted with Laura (Eeyorelvr10) and introducing all of them to Wyndi & Tennessee (Wyndi Mother)! The picnic area outside DLR was a GREAT meeting place. Everyone brought their own food and got there when they could. We hung out for a few hours trading stories and having a good time. I think Des or Laura will post pix later.

Hope those who went all had a great time at DCA! Wish we could have joined you all but we had too much to do! But now I'm even MORE excited for this awesome cruise!

Wish I could have been there, but the trade off is a good one. Still at WDW. Just finished extra hours at DHS. Tomorrow going to property control and company D with my DCL friend, dinner at Boma and then extra hours again at Magic Kingdom. The trip has been great. Honestly I am looking forward to coming home Wed. and getting back to work Sunday. Also flying home should be a snap unlike getting out here. Well off to the hot tub when I get back to Old Key West.

I did the work in MS Word- what is the best way to now save what I have and turn it into a JPG image file of good quality to upload to the tshirt website?

I'm so glad the FE issue is resolved! The discussion was starting to get heavy there for a bit and I was getting uncomfortable. Sounds like the plan is do what you can...LOVE that idea!

Lynne, I'm sorry to hear about your cousin and glad that you will get to see him soon! I'm sure that with you being so far away it eases your mind to know you will get to see him in just a short while
So..."My lentils are minging?" Oh, do tell!! What does THAT mean?? I would love to throw that one into a sentence, but I don't know if I will be able to pull it off! It sure would be fun to try though!
I did the same thing for this cruise that you want to do for the Dream (booked the day the cruise came out and then changed it when on the ship to get the discount). This is why I have a GTY and not a room assignment...you have to completely change the res and you cannot keep your original room. But, once you are done, you can transfer your res to another travel agent and still get all of the benefits of booking on board.

Tinkerbell129, I would be happy to walk you through it as I have now created shirts on Zazzle, uberprints and vistaprint (I just have to purchase them), but I don't know what you are confused about. Do you have the pics saved on your computer? If so, do you just need help creating the shirt? Or, do you need a walk through on saving the images and then putting them on??

Re: Hotel before and after cruise...I don't know where we are staying before the cruise, but we are flying in on the 5th and will be up bright and early to head to the ship. AFTER the cruise we will be staying at Casa de Melissa...it's a lovely resort about 1 hour from D-land and you get greeted by cheerful loving dogs (a brittney and a mutt to be exact)

I called DCL about when the GTY would change and they told me it was between 50 and 75 days, but after reading what the rest of you have said, that sounds somewhat inaccurate--I guess we'll see.
