Aww, it sounds like I've lost my neighbor. Congrats on the awesome rate!

Wow, there are now seven cat. 7A cabins open, four on deck 7.

ahhhh I am going crazy I hope they have the rate in the morning I'll be calling at 5am

Yep! You have lost your neighbor! When looking up our ressie..it says 5C GTY so I don't know if thereis a chance we will get a CAT 7 or not :confused3.

I am hoping for a 5A or 5B mid but I know that's asking for a lot of pixie dust!

CindyGirl..it should be still available...

If your reservation says 5C GTY then you won't get anything less than that. You get to say bye bye to cat. 7 and hello to a full verandah! :thumbsup2

I was kind of looking forward to the CAT 7.. LOL Seems sillyI guess but it sounded cozy! Well...here's hoping we find out soon!

Enjoy the time off. What kind of DVC pins do you want or pins at all? I have books of them and if there is something you really want that I might have I will be more than happy to bring it to you in January.

I look at allpins. No need to bringthem, I don't want you to do that, but thank you anyway.. That is very nice of you. Well now that cast rates are out here is hopping that interline is not far behind.

I have never brought certificates back, but I have brought other things back from a Disney Cruise (e.g Navigators) and they came back OK.

If you feel it necessary, by all means plan for a mailing tube. According to the website, each certificate is 15.5 x 21 inches in size.

Ooh, now I have really read and digested that little bit of info, they seem larger than I expected (I was expecting US letter size). Hmm, perhaps this time I will need a mailing tube. Oh well, I still have 13 more weeks to plan that part :lmao:

Kay, I would contact the firm. When we ordered individually last time they all came in individual triangular 'tubes'. Could be with a bulk order they might be transported in a different way.

Would be good for you to know though I would think.

Just FYI, Cast rates can be used for familiy (as long as the cast member is sailing). So while we can't use the cast rates, we could pass it on to my brother. He didn't even lose his deposit (that starts Saturday), so he saved more than 50% on the cruise plus his gratuities are already paid for.
He's buying all the beer on board.

Way to go to all that were able to rebook for cast member rates - and good luck Alan on the interline.

Sunny and in the 50's here, headed to the upper 60's. Love fall anyway but especially this year since it brings us so much closer to our cruise.

Whiteboard group - there are a group of us going together to purchase white boards for our cruise and we have lost a few members. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I will get you the information so you can make a decision.

Pixie dust to all my fellow cast members and cruisers for letting us know abous sa rates!!!:tinker::tink:

I found a local company that did my t-shirts. They had great quality, have kids sizes and tons of colors. They did not charge me a setup and this is what I had printed on the back:

and the front had this image customized with our names:

They were great to work with and said they could ship the items anywhere. Send me a PM if you want their name and contact information.

I just assumed they would be flat packed. LOL. You know what they say about assuming... :rotfl::rotfl: That would have been a shock for me (not to mention DH) - 50 plus certificates in tubes.

Thanks for the heads up. I will double check. If they are shipped in a tube, I will get them shipped directly to our property manager in Kissimmee rather than here so that I don't have to fly them over with our luggage in the hold.

Well with a bulk order they probably would send them flat, but even then, 50 or so could be quite heavy and perhaps not too easy to transport anyway.

Awww, I'm still your neighbor :cool1: Unless they upgrade me for free, you are stuck with me. But I promise we will be good neighbors

I don't know what time it would be in Scotland, but yes, it is 12am Florida time on the 8th. So, for example, those of us in CA who are 3 hours behind, we could book at 9pm on the 7th...hope that helps.

Yes, it is midnight eastern. Good luck! :goodvibes

12am FL time is 5am GMT - you are 5 hours ahead of EST (Florida timezone)

Set that alarm clock :headache:

Are any of you interested in organizing a room tour? How it works: Cruisers volunteer to let others visit their cabin and see what the different categories are like. One person organizes the event to make sure we don’t have duplicate categories. So, on a sea day, at an established time, (final time set after other event times are published) starting on the lowest deck, we visit the different category of cabins. It is great fun to parade down the halls meeting each other and getting a real look at those rooms we all take only a quick peak into as we pass an open door. Additionally, it allows us to share cabin living ideas such as use of an over-the-door shoe storage hanger to put all the “stuff” that ends up set everywhere; or printing a few 4x6x pictures each night at Shutters and decorating one wall as the cruise progresses. If enough people are interested, I will try to organize the event. Let me know what you all think. Val

Dateline - upstate New York. Home safe and sound. Started out in sunshine, ended up in rain - the weather perfectly matched my mood. 3350 miles driven.

AUBS? Are they Iron-on-able or does one need a special machine? I usually make my own using the transfers for dark shirts, but always looking for a better transfer.

There's a hint for you! I ALWAYS bring my camera when I deliver FE gifts so I can take pictures of special doors and Fish extenders.

The company says you need to use a heat press. It uses both heat and pressure. I do not think they would work with a regular iron but I will check next weekend.
