I was kind of looking forward to the CAT 7.. LOL Seems sillyI guess but it sounded cozy! Well...here's hoping we find out soon!

Now I'll have to find another cat. 7 to snoop/visit so I can see what they look like. Hopefully you'll end up close by.

So who else here is Silver and super excited about being able to book excursions tonight??!! Can't wait!!

Me! We were supposed to go see Rascal Flatts tonight, but they've postponed the concert due to illness so I'll be home to start the process at 9PM PST.:thumbsup2

Awww, I'm still your neighbor :cool1: Unless they upgrade me for free, you are stuck with me. But I promise we will be good neighbors

Yay! :goodvibes You're stuck with us too unless DCL decides to upgrage us. I don't have any cool way to get any discounts. We'll behave too.

We can't go on the other Whale tours because we have to be back at the marine center by 12:30 for the dolphin experience. However, I was able to find another tour and if anyone wants to join us on this tour run by Cabo Adventures, you are welcome to join. The tour leaves at 9:00am from the Marine Center (which is walking distance from where the tenders dock). They do offer a 15% discount for booking online.

This tour is NOT a leisurly ride, but on a faster zodiac.

I assume that I am not the only one with this thought. We would like to go to DL after the cruise. What port are we arriving at? What is the best transportation from the port to DL? I am looking something that would be very efficient. Assuming they let us of the boat by 8:00 a.m., what time could we be in the parks.
Finally, this will be our first time at DL (been to WDW oodles of times) and we have DD4. Can we realistically do everything she would be able to do in two days or will we miss so much that it is just not worth it? Because of my husband's call schedule we have to fly out of LAX by noon on Sunday.
Thanks!

We finalized our dinning rotation this AM. We found out:
Formal Nights are nights 3, 14
Simi Formal Night is night 10
Pirate Night is night 11

Hope this helps ya'll!

For those of you who are doing Karmina Resort in Manzanillo, do you know if the resort has a swim up bar. I tried googling it and found conflicting answers, some say yes, some say no. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks for the catamaran info and the Costa Rica info. I am having a few learning issues with multiple quoting and deleting bits of others' posts on my iPad, so am giving up on that for now!!!!

Yes, Champagne Girls was fun. I didn't join in this time though I head they had a great time. Once a Champagne Girl, always a Champagne Girl!!!

And KayR quote "Champagne Girls - are you not automatically a champagne girl if you have already attended a meeting? If that is the case you, I and Granmaz are all Champagne Girls (we had a meet on our 9/12/09 cruise which had the Palo Somelier giving us a talk on champagne. It was great fun)."

Kay & Marilyn (AKA Champagne Girls) do you think there is an opportunity to introduce more cruisers to the world of the Champagne Girls? Do the three of us have an obligations to do so? Can we organize a bubbly (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)gala? Do we want to consider contacting DCL about a private champagne tasting or do like the TA cruise and we bring our own bottles to a designated area? Of course tiaras and boas are essential and a designated photographer.
Any interest Girls?
Val

Are any of you interested in organizing a room tour? How it works: Cruisers volunteer to let others visit their cabin and see what the different categories are like. One person organizes the event to make sure we don’t have duplicate categories. So, on a sea day, at an established time, (final time set after other event times are published) starting on the lowest deck, we visit the different category of cabins. It is great fun to parade down the halls meeting each other and getting a real look at those rooms we all take only a quick peak into as we pass an open door. Additionally, it allows us to share cabin living ideas such as use of an over-the-door shoe storage hanger to put all the “stuff” that ends up set everywhere; or printing a few 4x6x pictures each night at Shutters and decorating one wall as the cruise progresses. If enough people are interested, I will try to organize the event. Let me know what you all think. Val

Hi Val,
We are interested and we'll volunteer our SPH room to tour. I think another DISer has a SPH room too. The views are different so if he/she also volunteers people may want to see both.

Good to know about Pirate night. I need to take my intinarary with me tonight so I can figure everything out. Can book everything tonight. Hoping to do one day at Palo. Congrats on all the upgrades. I was so glad I got one a few weeks back gave me over $700 in credit back to CC . Tips and transfers were already done. I love the balcony. I love to sit out there at night and watch the lights of the ports.

Val, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet up. No doubt we passed each other sometime. We were even at the Praktik Rambla from the Tuesday too!!!

It might be a nice idea to do Champagne Girla, but you will have to count me out now. However I know you would get a load of help from past organizers, and if you wanted it to be a tasting, like we had in the past with the Somellier, then I am sure that could be arranged. It was great to get the tastings explained etc. if you just want to drink and have some fun, then I'm guessing doing it like on the TA cruise would be just fine.

Just moved to travel agent rate! Lost our room and now have a GTY, but so very worth it!!!!! :dance3:

When did they add in the TA rate? I asked 2 days ago and was told that they didn't have one yet. I will have to call and see if it's better then the CM rate but I hope not..I don't want to cancel and rebook again! :lmao:

Awww, I'm still your neighbor :cool1: Unless they upgrade me for free, you are stuck with me. But I promise we will be good neighbors

I wanted to be your neighbor but couldn't afford to... :rotfl2: Can I be an honorary neighbor?

Just curious by what you mean that you finalized your dining rotation?

Thanks!

I doubt that TA discount would be more than the CM discount. I seem to remember Jeff telling me that the CM discounts are always suppose to be the "best" discount available. Well better than the FLR and MTO discounts anyway.

Not a chance:lmao: of me orginizing it thats for sure, but I dont mind opening my cabin, dont orginize it till rooms are allocated if you want to stay sane, I was really looking forwrd to seeing the cabins, my cabin was first on the tour, but the time folks left my cabin, then I got out and to the next cabin on the list, the next 2 on the list didnt wait for me.I was only a few mins.:rotfl2:
It was good fun though, did you come? I had a scottish room theme, whiskey, haggis chips, scottish sweeties and stuff, put all the left overs in the fishextenders to get rid of it,lol, no way was I carting it home again.
So if your doing it put my name down, Lynne.

That helps lots, although they changed to trans atlantic nights with only a weeks notice.

Of course our room is open for the room tour.

:thumbsup2 You guys are so sweet.
I am so excited about tonight, we have picked a few snorkling trips out that I want to book,
I am a bit dissapointed that its cruise casual on my birthday.
Oh well never mind, I will get glammed up anyway:thumbsup2

14th night, formal,,thats not good, nothing will fit!!lol

It is great to see so many have been able to get a great discount. One of my friends I am traveling with got the CM ratefir a Cat. 5C. He moved from a 7A. He is very upset right now though because DCL will not put him back in main dining with the rest of us. Since he has a four year old it is a concern for him and his wife. I am getting upset because it seems every discount is out there now but the interline. Well I guess I should cross my fingers. Heres hopping.

We got our shirts and they look great. This is the front of Ryan's

Used the same back that Jeff used. They came from Vista Print.

I have a favor to ask - I called Vista Print about printing items using the same design someone on the dis-boards had used on items I want to order. I wondered what they would need to access a design they had used before. She did not access your specific account, nor was any specific name or information exchanged, we spoke generally, but what she suggested is I ask if you would be willing to establish your account as a generic account so we all could have access to the same design and not need to upload a new one. They indicated you would do this by going into your Vista Print account and changing it to a new generic e-mail address - not your real one - and a generic password. They assured me three times that your personal information - especially credit card info is not stored and would never be reflected. They said if you would then post for the group the generic e-mail address and password you entered we could all access the design. We would give our own mailing address and credit card numbers when we ordered from this generic account. The customer service number I called to ask about this was 1-866-614-8004 if you had questions. I understand if you don't want to go to the trouble but would appreciate it if you didn't mind. Val
