Hi All,
Wow, you have been busy! It's hard to believe we are getting so close. If I remember correctly, many of us commented about having to get through the summer and then things would really start to move...I know life is zooming now so I image the next few months are going to FLY by! So excited!!!!!!

You all had me cracking up last night over the weather conversations! I'm with Kay about the California weather...we don't have any! Especially in So. Cal. You can have the same weather in Dec as you have in June...the only real difference is how quickly it cools off at night. But, to be fair, there are disadvantages...I must admit that when you don't have weather you run into people who don't know how to drive in weather! When it rains here, the amount of accidents in ridiculous--You'd think we were driving in a Blizzard!

Why were you in the hospital

I was an outpatient, been having "trouble" got all my bits scanned, was worried about rhs kidney but it all looked ok on usound, a big relief, celebrtaed by buying new cloths, in fact since I lost a ton of wt 3 years ago, im not sure Ive ever stopped buying clothes

We can begin reserving the canopy (zipline) tour in Puerta Vallarta!

Anyone 6 and older can zip-line on this excursion.
All non-Zippers of any age can enjoy the following: swim in the river, enjoy cocktails at the tequila bar, visit the animals in their zoo or have lunch at their riverside restaurant.

When is the deadline to book this? We weren't considering this because DD wanted to do a dolphin swim in PV. However, she saw a documentary about the process of the capturing of many of these dolphins and she decided against it. Now, we just have to decide - Will we leave DS in the kids club so DH, DD, and I can go ziplining OR do DH or I sit out so the other one can go with DD. We really don't want to leave DS in the kids club but I know many people do. DH offered to let me go with DD while he stayed behind with DS but he really wants to do the ziplining. I guess we should look at other excursions too.

However, I was hoping some of you veterans could shed some light on how you have already put an itinerary together? I understand booking shore excursions in advance, but how do you know when you want to go to Palo or the spa? Birthdays, anniversaries...I totally get that. But for those w/out special occasions to celebrate, how are you pulling your itinerary together? Especially when we don't know our dining rotation, or theme nights?

Murphy's law dictates that whatever we plan in advance, there will be something going on at that time that we want to do.

I just spoke to DCL and if anyone is looking at booking a cabana on Castaway Cay, you may have to wait a bit. The rep I spoke to said they will be ready when we are there, but he did not know when booking would be available.

How do you decide when you're going to stay at a certain size? I'm afraid to spend much on anything in my current size for fear in a few months it won't fit again.

SUCH good news! And a bit of shopping is good for everyone - everyday!

Well, the day is winding down and I am ready for it to be done. It has been dark and dreary all day but not much rain, at least from my window. I am so looking forward to our cooler weather predictions - only supposed to be in the low 60's Friday and 59 on Saturday and the nights will be in the 40's. Open those windows!

To anyone in the path of Earl - take care, be careful and head inland. We have our own weather issues here with snow and ice but certainly not what the hurricanes bring. BE SAFE!!!

Hey Melissa! My brother and I are also doing the zip/tram in costa rica too, so we'll see you there too! I could not decide what to do in Costa Rica, but everyone I've asked at work and friends of friends keep saying how CR is known for zipping, so I figure, what the heck, why not do it there and PV? and yes the waterfall thing is what sold me on the Outdoor Adventure- getting all wet and dirty and just being completely out of my element for the day, I just feel like it will be really exhilarating. I cant wait!

I kinda remember some mention of it, but dread going over all the posts to find out

It always seems long from the time you are PIF until you can book the excursions and complete the paperwork

Ps....we are in our fourth day of a rather odd heatwave it was +40c with the humidex yesterday but will only be +16c on Sunday (Liam's 12th birthday)
