I have added your thread to the cruise meet list

Alan, glad your car didn't cost a bomb to fix!
For all those who've done the crossing before, was wondering when Disney releases the information for the various theme nights? Do they give much notice or do you tend to find out onboard? I guess because we're leaving home nearly a month before the cruise, it'd be nice to know before hand.

Okay, I'll be happy to take on that task as I can work on it at my own pace. If people can PM their ideas of things they "want" to do, I can start working out a general schedule...Also, I remember reading about people volunteering to help tutor kids on different subjects throughout the cruise. If the person who has that info would like to contact me, I could put that in as well--Something like: "Jan. 8 @ 1:00-2:00pm--Math (Algebra and Geometry) with (tutor name here) in Diversions"...I'm sure you get the idea

How about this. Instead of everyone calling DCL about it. I will post the email from my friend when I can. Then it will be on here. I will also PM Jeff the same info since he can put it on the website. This email also contains where you eat every night based on rotation. I hope that will help you all.
Alan, I'm so sorry I should have read the previous posts more carefully!!!! I wasn't fishing for info, didn't meant to put you in an awkward position. I was just generally asking if Disney actually tells their passengers details about the theme nights so they can bring stuff from home!
I have no desire to know my dining rotations! I don't really care.
Hi All,
On that line of thinking, has anyone volunteered to create the "program" for the group? I think I remember reading that someone usually takes all of the activities and puts them together into a program that each person can download and print as needed. I would be happy to create that if you would like...

Wow, you go away for 5 days and you miss a ton of posts! We took an emergency trip to WDW. Stayed at Saratoga Springs. Liked it better this time than previous times. Really went to celebrate our anniversary, to get me away from the stress, and most important, to see DD off before she became a cruise CM. . . .

I did add the SM reveal and the PJ breakfast to the calender. Jeff already put it in. I will look at the dates I gave him and PM you the details. Thanks for doing this!
Although I am not tutoring, I am putting together a "journal/fun book" of sorts. I will have the links posted and everyone can print them out if they choose.
Oh no worries what so ever. You did not put me in a strange position. What I was saying is once my friend tells me it is all good I will post. This way no one has to waste time calling DCL. That's all. Also you will not know your rotation, but the info I have may make you want to make a request of one that's all.
.
Jen - Count me in for the wine party. I'll bring a bottle of something from RI. Heck, I'll also bring a bottle of coffee syrup. And maybe some Del's mix. Hmmmmmm... Anyone bringing a blender?
.
Linda you sure do a nice summary!
Alan thanks for putting me at ease. I shall wait and see what surprises DCL has in store for us.
I am currently frustrated. Don't know how I can go about getting a PALO reservation for the 11 of us. 1 short for the dining room and not able to get a big enough table doing the online thing. Problem also is that we're silver but the rest of the gang are DCL newbies. The inventory control Palo specialist wasn't that much help. They suggested that I try to book a 6 top table under my name and a 4 top table under DH's name and then make a request for PALO to put the tables together, but they can't guarantee that they'll do is for us. Also I distinctly remember on the med cruise that we could only a table that's as big as the dining party from our rooms. Sigh...any suggestions anyone?
Does anyone feel like joining a bunch of Australians for brunch or dinner? We have room for 3 if we get a private room!

Are y'all sick of me saying that yet??
:
Alan - glad the car repair bill was lower than expected. And I cannot wait to see the schedule info your friend has shared!!
My DH can tutor advanced math, science, chemistry

Tinkerbel - I would think you should be able to do something with dining. Fingers crossed for you!
Sherri - I too hope things get better for you. Glad you were able to take a short vacation.
OK off to make a payment!!![]()
The room assignments for our Sept 18th TA cruise were only done a couple of weeks ago, so you have a fair wait yet. Annoying isn't it?![]()
Doing the Paid in Full DanceHappy that its all taken care of AND that the last payment pushed me finally over the threshold to the 140,000 frequent flier miles I needed to book my first class ticket in a lie-flat bed "seat" for my trip to Australia next year, double bonus!
