We are coming to WDW Sunday Jan 2 and stay 4 nights. We were going to come Jan 3rd and take the 830am Flight on SW but we would be too excited too sleep so we are flying in Sunday night. I am hoping to get either BCV or BLT. Will let you know what I get in 8 hours.

I don't want to burst anytype of bubble, but we may not have a 8:30 A.M. flight on 1/2/11. It may be later or evebn maybe eariler. You will be able to find out on 6/15. Also that is the time of year when we really change up the flights due to the holiday period. Somedays all flights may not run. I just wanted to give you the heads up.

We were able to get into the BCV with out a problem. Our plan is Sunday am to pack and make it a leisurely day. The current pm flight to MCO is around 730pm but will check things out on June 15th. The other option is getting a rental car and driving. Which may be what we do. So we can take the water and alcohol.

Right now I am leaning towards buying a rolling cooler and putting it in my bag. But then I think to myself, if I am going to spend the money on the cooler anyway, why not just avoid the hassle. :confused3 So then I go back to just using what we have and trying to figure it out that way. I guess it is good I have a little more time. Although then I tend to overthink these things. :rotfl2: Imagine that an overplanner who overthinks.

The rolling cooler is a great investment. I got mine 2 years ago and already used it on 2 cruises, it is wonderful. I use it to a)bring the liquor on board, b)fill with ice to store in the room since the ice bucket is not that big and the "beverage cooler" isnt so cool, c)we bring it to CC too for the day, very convenient with the wheels! Really, they arent expensive, and they pay off so well for their versatility.

Guys...what is a rolling cooler, away to google it!

The ones I have been able to find seem to small for the investment. I know I can get a roll-on carry-on size suitcase for cheap. I must be looking in the wrong places. Where did you find yours?

Since I cant post the link, I can describe it to you. Go to amazon's website, type in "rolling cooler" and scroll about halfway down, mine is the blue one Adventurer 32 Can Collapsible Rolling Cooler for $37. I remember fitting a 1.75 liter Absolut and a 1 liter rum, plus a few water bottles in it. And it fit so much ice in it in our stateroom. It was plenty big enough, but for this cruise I'll be using a rolling carryon size suitcase for the bottles (since I'm buying more to last 3 weeks for the whole trip), and will probably use the cooler for some juices and water bottles. But for "normal" 7 night or less cruises, the cooler is great for carrying on the stuff, but even for this one, I'll definitely get my use out of it as an ice box/beverage cooler and for use on islands if I want to hit the beach with it.

Hey Alan, as the resident alcohol leader of our group ; ), I'm expecting an answer from you lol on your alcohol planning! Are you stocking up big time in FL or waiting until the islands?

Is there a BevMo near Orlando? Don't they have a huge sale in Jan.?

ABC Discount liquors is in FL and they have pretty good prices. I'm going to order and have it sent to me at the hotel.

ABC has prices comparable to just about anywhere cheap. HOWEVER, if you have a military ID, I would highly encourage you to go to Patrick AFB (very close to the port) and use the Class 6 there. You no longer need decals for your car to get on a base, just your ID.

They also have Rosa Regale which is heavenly for $17

That is the bestest ever! I also got it in Publix at the port last year but I don't remember what I paid for it. I can get it in our local grocery too. I got hooked on that on our Southern cruise. Between the Pepsi, beer and RR - I need another carry-on!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I was trying to locate this and all I can find is Kansas. I know you can not post a link but can you PM me additional info on how to find this. Thanks for the info!
