Since I cant post the link, I can describe it to you. Go to amazon's website, type in "rolling cooler" and scroll about halfway down, mine is the blue one Adventurer 32 Can Collapsible Rolling Cooler for $37. I remember fitting a 1.75 liter Absolut and a 1 liter rum, plus a few water bottles in it. And it fit so much ice in it in our stateroom. It was plenty big enough, but for this cruise I'll be using a rolling carryon size suitcase for the bottles (since I'm buying more to last 3 weeks for the whole trip), and will probably use the cooler for some juices and water bottles. But for "normal" 7 night or less cruises, the cooler is great for carrying on the stuff, but even for this one, I'll definitely get my use out of it as an ice box/beverage cooler and for use on islands if I want to hit the beach with it.

Thank you. I found it!

The ones I have been able to find seem to small for the investment. I know I can get a roll-on carry-on size suitcase for cheap. I must be looking in the wrong places. Where did you find yours?

if you just want a roll-on carryon size, check target and walmart. they have them there! the big dufflebag size was about $28, so i'm sure the carry-on size must be cheaper than that, but they arent coolers, just rolling carryon bags

They also have Rosa Regale which is heavenly for $17

Oh, I love that. I so hope I can have a little alcohol by the time this cruise comes along. Never drank much at all, but when on the cruise an odd glass of wind was so nice.

Good Morning, everyone!

Still seeking a female roomie for my cousin Iola.

Meanwhile, planning is now going full steam ahead!

LOVE Rosa Regale. I don't drink very often, but I *will* have my konk kooler, and a glass of RR on the cruise :)

We got the kids rolling type coolers for Christmas(not huge but certianly large enough for our liquor needs) at Walmart one of their gifts was shopping in the freezer (we had just put a beef and pork in there and they needed coolers to transport the meat home after the holidays.) I may have to borrow back youngest DD's cooler (the one still at home) and use it, they fold up quite small all things considered.

To all of those thinking coolers - I don't have a rolling one but I do have several soft-sided that can be carried. Downfalls are they are heavy, especially with ice in them. My first attempts leaked as well but then I found the California Innovations and none of those leak (we have 2 sizes). There is nothing worse than a leaking cooler that is full of ice, leave an odd breadcrumb trail or leaking on the carpet in the cabin if it is on the floor. We always take ours to CC and I am thinking about investing in a rolling one, would be easier on DH the carrier.

Hey everyone i am just arranging to book a town car for when we arrive in LA. It gives me many choices to pick from as far as what port to be picked up at. What is the name of the port that we come into? Is it Port of LA? Just wanna make sure i book to be picked up at the correct spot.

Thanks

Mel

You will be coming into the Port of Los Angeles which is located in San Pedro. We should be berth 91 or 93 but do not hold me to that part :)

Ok thanks for the info. What are some good transfer companies? Not sure which ones are good. We do not want a shuttle service we are looking for a town car or limo service. Thanks

OK all caught up from page 155 - good stuff.

So thrilled SWs booking window is opening!! Time to get some planning done!!

Shipping alcohol to the hotel - BRILLIANT!! But my fear would be since we are only staying one night before sailing, that the delivery doesn't make it on time - :lmao:
we are a party of 8 so we will book a limo from MCO to our hotel at the port - yet to be determined - so I guess we will just make the liquor run stop??

Have to have a planning meeting!

We just came back from the BTB TA and Mediterranean cruises. On the TA our FE group grew quite large- 53 cabins and when it was a smaller group we decided to give something to everyone in the cabin- adults and children. I made special Mickey and Minnie magnets for the adults and for the children, depending on the age, I had special gifts. It was a lot of fun but a lot of work making the 100 magnets, but it was great getting little surprises everyday. On the Med part the FE were groups of 10 cabins.

We also had a group brunch at Palo, a lunch at Luminers to reveal the SM and a group picture taken. Someone also arranged playing Bunco. On the TA there were 363 Disboard members and on the Med 160.

We are from CT but have a small manufactured home about 5 minutes from Port Canaveral where we will be in Jan. On the TA there was a group staying at one of the hotels near the port and we had a pre cruise meet. I was on the lanyard committee and since I lived there they were shipped to me and I met the person that designed the logo tags for them at the hotel and we gave out some of the lanyards at the hotel and then the next day at 3:00 we were in one of the ship's lounges and gave out the rest. It was a great way to meet people. If my husband and I can help in any way please let us know. If there is a precuise meet near the port please include us.

Sound like you had a wonderful time!
I know there will be a precruise somewhere in WDW, but we are staying at the port so I'm hoping there will be one there also. We are booked at the Radisson right now but are hoping to change over to CI&S. We really like that hotel.

We will be staying at the Radisson at the port also. We should definitely organize a meet, we can't let everyone staying at WDW have all the fun! :goodvibes
