Welcome Sally! The PC has been on my bucket list too. When I was little and watched it on the Love Boat I wanted one day to go there. Plus my Dad was Corps of Engineers and talked about it frequently. I have had it booked with RCI numerous times and canceled everyone!

I don't think anyone assumes that you celebrate Christian holidays. It's a greeting that goes out to everyone that does celebrate. I don't remember having seen any that specifically said "Alan, Merry Christmas or Happy Easter!"

We live in America and celebrating or not is your right. I really don't know why you feel that every Christian greeting is about you.

I AM a Christian. I know I'm not suppose to discuss religion on the boards but this is ongoing. Since you don't celebrate, just let the greetings pass.

As upseting this was to me, (it acctuly made me want to leave this group but I calmed down and let a cooler head do my thinking) I would never report you to a mod for expressing your feelings on a interpitation on what I said. I personaly think you took my meaning wrong, and that is alright. You are completly intitled to your opinion. What I am trying to say is yesterday as I am boarding my flights I must have had about 50-60 people wish me, some by name as we do wear our names, a happy Easter. To me that is assuming I celebrate the day. People posting here saying happy Easter does not assume I celebrate the day. What was getting to me was no one was posting ackowlagements of any other holidays people might be celebrating. Also you are so correct when you say that you love in America and have the right not to celebrate or to celebrate. Let's just drop it all together. Agree to disagree, say I am wrong, and so forth.

We still can't book our WDW hotel yet... DH is slightly panicked but I told him: honey, we can't book... but no one else can either. Can't believe they haven't opened the rooms yet.

Are you guys booking on DVC points too? We are waiting for the June time frame to open. I think we're going to try to book into the VWL.

I remember trying to book our trip for Jan 2008. It was sometime July or August that they finally opened up the next year. I'm not sure how far in advance they do it now. Anyway, I just remember how frustrating it was because I had a deposit and insurance down on an Aug reservation that had a penalty date in early July. We had to change our trip to January but the rooms and packages weren't released by my penatly date. I had to book a dummy date just not lose my deposit and insurance.

I don't understand why they wait so long. Don't they know about us dissers that obsess with our plans
