Tues MK would work. We have BBB at 8:00 and then CRT at 10:00 AM, so between 9:00 and 10:00 my plan was to stay in Fantasyland so that could work out! Maybe a joint Dumbo Dash at rope drop. At some point before we part ways, Small World would be fun b/c we can get on a boat together. I bet the girls would have fun together. Maybe Brook and family could join us and the girls can fight over Henry - haha - just kidding. And, I think I read about another Dis family on your TR that will be at the World too?
I think our Toon Town rope drop is scheduled for Saturday since we have CRT Tues if I am thinking straight. I have a cold, so thinking straight isn't working out too good
Small World sounds good. My dashing isn't so pretty anymore. You guys can dash, and I'll take pictures when I get there.

The girls got along very well at Opry Mills, so I am sure they would have a great time in Disney World. We'll make sure Brook knows about that meet, and if they can make it, that will be great!
Thank you! I think my parents were more nervous about my test than I was. My dad said he didn't sleep the night before

He sounded so relieved when I called him and said I passed. My mom wasn't nervous until I actually got in the car with the instructor, but then she was a nervous wreck
That would be awesome! I can't guarantee my mom getting up early enough but I'd be there
You can let us know when it's closer to Magic Kingdom day. We can fill up a whole Small World boat!
I know you guys deal with a similar situation with Jill being in Alabama and Trent being in Florida. The thought of having his family to lean on will make it slightly easier since we'll both be leaving our families up here. It's sad to think of but I know it's the right decision. I might be asking you for some coping tips though, MeMom, when that day comes that we actually move!
Tips? Just get a big box of tissue. We don't do so well on the goodbyes. Once we're gone and back to working and life, it's not as hard, although we still miss him a whole lot, and he misses us, but the parting is really sad.
With Jill, although I do shed tears almost every time, I know I will be seeing her again pretty soon. We usually see each other every other week or at the most we'll go three weeks, just depending on what's going on.
Hi there! Long time reader....and lurker on your reports. I was waaay behind and I took the last few days to catch up and to my suprise you guys are planning on a dismeet in my town!
I live in Fenton, MO about 15 to 20 minutes from downtown St Louis. If you guys need ANY help/advice about lodging or places to see let me know!
I highly recommend our zoo...they say it is one of the best in the country (I wouldn't know it is the only zoo I have ever been to). Parking is a steep $11 a car...I think, but you can park anywhere in Forrest Park for free and walk to one of the entrances. Entrance to the zoo is free. The carousel, train, children's zoo, sea lion show and the stingray encounter (last 2 are only during summer) cost...I don't know prices just yet but I can find out. We are members so we just show our card for those things. If you are members at another zoo that is affiliated with ours I think you get some sort of discount. Near the South entrance across Highway 40 (there is a bridge) there are VERY large concrete turtles (Turtle Park) they are a fun place to bring kids to to climb around on.
Grants Farm is pretty cool too. It is free to get in as well but you do have to pay for parking (I think it was $11 the last time we went). It is a good 1/2 day place. The shows are free but you do pay for the carousel and bottles for feeding the goats. There is a bird and elephant show and you can see the famous Budweiser Clydesdales in the barn in the parking lot. I will have to keep my eyes and ears out for this place though. Rumor is when Anhueser Busch was bought out the new company doesn't want the up keep on Grants Farm. I think they want either the state or county to take it over. I can post up picks from our visit in Septmeber if anyone is interested.
The arch....eh. I have been up in it once and that is about enough for me. It is nice to see once though. And yes the cars that take you up are VERY scary! If it is windy they won't let you go up.
As for lodging.. There is a Drury Inn about 2 miles from our house. My family has stayed there in the past and they really like it. It has a full free hot breakfast and popcorn in the evenings and you get 2 free drinks in the evening. I can get the phone # for anyone if you are interested. Lots of family friendly restraunts nearby and a
Walmart and Target close if anyone forgets anything!
Sorry that was sooo long! I just thought you would want a hometowner's opinion on the place. I have lots more to suggest....let me know!
Oh yeah and I definately want to be there! We are going to WDW May 4 to 14 so if you could leave those dates out of the running I would greatly appreciate it!
I think the only thing that will stop us from doing this is lack of money. It sounds like there are a lot of DISers who could make a St. Louis meet, so I hope we can do it.
Another great update. I think we could spent hours in Innoventions, there is so much to do. Did Bella enjoy a nap while y'all were playing?
What a great Dis Meet. Love the picture of everyone together. My favorite picture is of Anita after drinking beverly. She was such a good sport. Brooklynn deserved her treat for tasting beverly again.
I bet my face is just atrocious-looking after a bgi swig of that medicinal tasting drink.
Ahhh...Soarin'.It is such a fun, relaxing ride. I am always more than happy to wait for row 1!
Innoventions is always so much fun. I can't remember where it was, but one time there was even a display and video playing about my type of hearing aid! It was neat!
The Beverly! Club Cool is always a fun place to go. I am sad that we didn't make it there this trip!
Soarin' is my favorite ride in any park, as of now.
Innoventions is also a good place to spend some time if it is raining.
We don't go in there too often, but it was a good place to meet, since it would be easy for us to find each other.

After the big DIS meet, my group walked back to the Pop bus stop. Jill and John were going to go eat at Le Cellier, and I was taking the girls back to Pop for play and rest. I took both girls and one stroller, and they kept one stroller with them to bring back later. Jill will have pictures of their meal/time in Epcot later.
Back at Pop, there was water fun.
First at Goofy's.
Then at the kiddie pool.
We were still at the pool when Jill and John got back.
They said the meal was excellent.
Bella wanted to walk, so I followed her and recorded her travels.
After the swimming, Jill said she thought they were just going to stay in for the evening, get the girls to bed early, and call it a night - rest, watch TV, etc. I decided to hop a bus to Hollywood Studios and take a few pictures.
