I took these pictures to show my class, since we have a story about cotton. Thanks to Jackie, I was able to show them the real thing.

And the last one.

IMG_7191.jpg

That's it for today. Someone is down there riding Living with the Land right now and dreaming of going home and creating their own beautiful garden. When I am there, that person is me. As of today, I am still be found going to the grocery store for my produce, though. Maybe someday.

Living with the Land is always a fun ride for our family. I'll never forget the time where they had put some fertiziler for the plants or something and people in front of us were like, "Ew!! It stinks!" And we were all like, "Ahh..smells like back home."

This is Bella putting her head through the bars.

IMG_7138.jpg

We had a fence that was around a pool I used to work at that my DD not only could get her head through but her whole body. :scared1: And she was maybe 12 or so. :scared1: My DS who is 3 years younger could not fit his coconut head through so I figure most of the population was safe from the pool area.

I did have our local Health dept write us up every year just so maybe it would alert the powers that be to replace the fence.

I am enjoying seeing Bella explore and meet the characters on her terms.

MeMom, how nice that you were able to see the girls this weekend and what a great surprise that Jill found the mixing bowl for you.

How cute is that Bella running away from the characters. Very sweet that most of the characters tried to get her to come see, especially Minnie and Stitch. It looked like with Pluto that she was trying to get the pup to follow her!

Bella is so funny sticking her head through the bars  She's such an explorer!

I'm one of those dreamers, too. The farthest we've gotten is growing basil on the terrace :upsidedow

So sweet of Jill to get you the mixing bowl!
Loved the pictures of the girls.:goodvibes It's really neat watching Bella's reactions to the characters change each trip. Pretty soon she'll be a pro. When we went when Ellie was 3 she was petrified and would scream. They didn't even try to get near her!

Hope you had a great weekend visit. We have a short week this week due to Veteran's Day and a teacher workday. Plus, a field trip to the farm. Might just be able to make it through this week.
Do you get Thursday off for Veteran's Day?

I hope you had a great visit with all your girls. You're very lucky to have such a wonderful daughter.

I enjoyed your photos around Pop, especially the secret photo from across the lake. Brooklyn really seems to enjoy her visits with the characters and although Bella is reluctant is does make for some great photos and stories. I hope you make it to Garden Grill, we went in 2007 and really enjoyed the food, I wasn't crazy about the room spinning. Living with the Land is a family favorite and not to be missed.

How sweet of Jill!! And hugs  to Jill. You are doing an awesome job at all you do. Bella is such a cutie!!

Finally got a chance to catch up here. I'm so sorry to hear about your friends. I will add them to my thoughts.

Love the updates! Those girls are just so stinking cute. :cutie:

 for the bowl! That was very sweet of Jill.

I do have a confessionI originally went to college intending to be an engineer but I decided that I didn't care enough how to make things work better. As long as they worked, I didn't care and I decided engineering probably wasn't for me though I did well in my classes. :rolleyes1 I do love my spreadsheets and lists. However, as I know next to nothing about cars, I imagine I will probably never put my husband through what I suspect Jill must be going through with the car shopping. :upsidedow I hope they find something soon for Jill's sanity.

Good Morning All,

Yeah, I am all caught up...I got really behind the last few weeks. Sorry I haven't been on here much.
Like so many others have said life sometimes keeps me from the DIS.:sad2:

I loved all of the updates and the great pictures. Looking at the breakfast food shots from POP made me salivate.
The pictures of the girls with Stitch are just so, so cute. I now have a new love for Stitch; he has never been a favorite of mine but my kids love him. The crowd levels are amazingly low especially for the 4th of July week.

The pictures of Bella outside of the Living Seas are great. What a cutie pie.:cutie:

Sorry to hear of so many people having friends and family going through sickness and hard times. Jill, I am thankful your husband wasn't hurt in the car/deer accident. Best of luck with car shopping. I hit a deer a few years ago, it was horrible. All night I kept seeing the poor things face as it jumped right in front of my car.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Catching up gives me the chance to really smile. I haven't done that all weekend.

I loved the pictures of the girls with the characters, maybe one day Bella will completely warm up to them. Hopefully, if not it'll be good for pictures and laughs to share.

So sweet of Jill to surprise you with the mixing bowls.

I hope you have a great school week!!

I'm glad you got to spend time with your girls this weekend. What a great surprise to get your mixing bowl! I hope Jill and John were able to find a car.

I love Bella's outfit she had on at Epcot. It sounds like Stitch was a lot of fun. I don't think I have ever ridden the Living with the land ride before. It looks interesting.

Fortunately, I have never had the experience of smelling icky stuff inside thsis ride. At Pop, however, I have been there when the fertilizer was smelling pretty strong and pretty gross!

I was keeping a careful watch on Bella, as she could have gone through the bars sideways, most likely.

She's a pretty easy-going girl, so we have to respect her willingness or unwillingness to meet these very large-headed characters as it comes.

Looks like Bella was quite the little explorer on your wait at The Seas! :goodvibes

LOVE this shot! I enjoy this ride too...I think I see something new each time we experience it! :thumbsup2

Jill and I want to take the Behind the Seeds tour on of these days.

She loves her 'Meenie' on TV and in books. She and Pluto will be favorites when she warms up to the characters, I think.

I'm one of those dreamers, too. The farthest we've gotten is growing basil on the terrace :upsidedow

I grew tomatoes and cucumbers twice. That's about it. I envy people who have those nice green thumbs!

We don't get Veterans' Day off, I am sorry to say. Sounds like your week will be very bearable. :thumbsup2

I am very, very blessed to have Jill as my daughter, and I did have a nice time with my little girls.

I know we're doing an 'Ohana dinner. Our other big meal will be either Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Garden Grill. The BBQ is just so darn expensive, so we might hold off on that for another year or so when money is not so tight.

How sweet of Jill!! And hugs  to Jill. You are doing an awesome job at all you do. Bella is such a cutie!!

I think we all just get overwhelmed sometimes with work and homes and families. All of those things are blessings, but they all take work, too.

I think they have settled on something, so Jill can be sane again pretty soon. ;)

I appreciate the prayers for the two families. I will try to get an update soon.

Ah, I may just be able to get through this cold Monday after seeing Soarin' and Living with the Land this morning!

Living with the Land can warm you up, for sure, with all that sun shining through the glass. I had ice on the car this morning, and the heaters at school have been out all day. He just made an announcement that they were in the process of being fixed right now.

I'm okay with Stitch as a character, and I think they could do fun things with an attraction for him in place of hte one they have now.

I hope you have a great school week!!

It's payday week, so that will be redeeming. Other than that, I guess it'll be fairly ordinary.

Maybe Ed needs to take your over to MK for a Dole Whip to help brighten your week.

As a homeschooling mom (you are, aren't you?), I think you would really enjoy going on that ride.

Sorry for the quick responses. Just trying to play keep up on my very quick lunch break!

I'm all caught up. I really thought I would be WAY behind, but it wasn't that bad...... 10 pages or so. We just got back from a very short, non Disney vacation. I am thankful for the time away and the fun things we did, but nowhere can compare to Disney. :sad2:

Loved the SAB pictures! That pool looks amazing! I want to go there really bad! Looks like the girls loved the sandy pool. That looks so much better than the ocean. You get all the sand, sun and water fun without the critters! ;) And I am in awe of how Jill is so thin after two kids. :worship: I wasn't that size BEFORE my DD!

We loved LWTL too. I like all the relaxing rides for the old folks and ride chickens like me! :rolleyes1

So what are your next Disney plans? We are going in 2011 (either the end of Oct/first of Nov. or mid December). Any chance that you might be going then? And the animal lover in me has to ask how your cat is doing? I hope he is all better!

We had a lull in pictures, because things were too busy. I am trying to get up the newest ones now.

Our plans for 2011 are probably going to be February 26th to March 2nd, the week of July 4th - Saturday before to the Saturday after, and then either Thanksgiving week or the week after Christmas through New Year's, or something kin to that. The first two are fairly certain. We talked about a long weekend trip for the 40th anniversary of Magic Kingdom, but we'll have to see how the money is holding out. Since we did October this year, if I have to choose, I would rather do Thanksgiving or Christmas next year. We'll talk more when we're together at Christmas this year, I'm sure.

After we did Living with the Land, we took our turns on Soarin'.

Oh, how I love this ride!

Brooklynn was a card holder for the CM's.

IMG_7193.jpg

Here we go!

IMG_7194.jpg

IMG_7196.jpg

IMG_7197.jpg

IMG_7198.jpg

Some entertainment as we headed out of that area.

IMG_7202.jpg

IMG_7203.jpg

IMG_7204.jpg

Bella was now tapped out.

IMG_7205.jpg

Brooklynn made a Velcro frog in Innoventions.

IMG_7207.jpg

IMG_7208.jpg

IMG_7209.jpg

Around Innoventions.

IMG_7210.jpg

I'm using this ides for a fun Math activity for the whole second grade in January.

IMG_7211.jpg

IMG_7212.jpg

IMG_7213.jpg

IMG_7214.jpg

IMG_7215.jpg

IMG_7216.jpg

I don't know anything about Kim Possible, so I have no idea what all this is about.

IMG_7217.jpg

IMG_7218.jpg

IMG_7219.jpg

IMG_7220.jpg

Some kind of unique refrigerator.

IMG_7221.jpg

IMG_7222.jpg

One more picture of this, but I am using Hamm as my pig when I do my thing at school. The kids will at least recognize him.

IMG_7223.jpg

More attempts to get a decent picture of this fountain.

IMG_7225.jpg

IMG_7226.jpg

There was to be a DIS meet at Club Cool. so we headed that way.

IMG_7227.jpg

Things you can buy there.

IMG_7228.jpg

IMG_7229.jpg

IMG_7230.jpg

IMG_7231.jpg

This is Jeremy, son of a DISer who was reading here for a while.

IMG_7232.jpg

The lady in front, you may recognize. ;)

I had to take a picture of Shocker's shoes. He had on those new toe-shoes.

IMG_7234.jpg

DIS dads.

IMG_7235.jpg

Lots of DISers.

IMG_7237.jpg

DISers and a few DIS siblings.

IMG_7242.jpg

Who were our Beverly drinkers for today?

IMG_7247.jpg

And what did they think of it?

IMG_7253.jpg

IMG_7256.jpg

Then we talked Brooklynn into a sip.

IMG_7258.jpg

I think there was a quarter involved.

IMG_7259.jpg

She couldn't get it to touch the lips,

IMG_7260.jpg

so Jill gave her a little help.

IMG_7266.jpg

IMG_7268.jpg

IMG_7269.jpg

She has tried it twice and not liked it twice.
Can't say that I blame her.
I'll stick with China and the watermelon drink when I go to Club Cool.
