I love those Mickey Bar best friends necklaces.
Hmmm, I'll have to look for that next weekend for a Christmas gift for one of the little girls in my family.

Cute pics of the girls in the water. Glad you headed to DHS for our shopping fix. I tried to get that pink Toy Story shirt for C in Sep but they did not have her size. I also like the necklace.

I thought the necklaces were cute, too. I'd like Mickey bad earrings if they were smaller.

Aaaah, to be able to say you were going to be in Disney World next weekend....! :goodvibes I'd love to go down there right now just to go window shopping in DTD.

Oh Boy, more shopping!

I'll take one of those Mickey Bar necklaces too.

Shopping pictures are fun for me, too. I enjoy looking at them when I need a Disney shopping fix.

Sorry they didn't have her size. That's a cute shirt. Several of the other ones I thought were cute started in size 2, which was too big for Bella.

Moving on, as I am trying to get as far as we can on this trip before we run out of pages.....

I decided to go see Mushu and the artistic friends who create so many lovable characters for us.

These are pictures from the stage area. I was in the back, but someday I think I will stay for a second after the show and walk up a little closer for better pictures. Judging by this scene, I think the animators have fun playing with their little toys. :)

I do not even remember taking this picture.

Did you notice there were two of her? That's what I need at school. One of me could be attending to this group of students, and the other could be behind my back making sure three or four of my rowdy ones were not wreaking havoc on the rest of the room! ::yes::

A Jiminy Cricket picture on one of the desks.

Cute little Precious Moments stuff.

I walked back outside and toward Mickey's hat. There was a concert going on.

IMG_7353.jpg

There was a pretty decent-sized group listening and dancing and having a good time.

I went into/under to look at pins, and this caught my eye.

I am going to try and get creative like that and spell my name one of these days. :thumbsup2

That's it for this morning. I'm going to go to Alabama and watch my sweet girls while Jill and John pull everything out of the garage and do some cleaning up and rearranging and throwing out. They were waiting for a pretty day wth no committments, and this seems to be the one. I am hoping to watch Toy Story 3 with my favorite movie-lovin' girl. Can't wait to see them both (and see my big girl, too) in a few hours.

Have a wonderful Saturday, friends!

Have fun in Alabama with your girls! Yesterday I baby-sat my cousin's daughters who are 11 months and 4 years old and they are adorable. The youngest has just the sweetest disposition, she's always smiling :cutie:

Wow! You posted a lot of pictures the past couple of days! Love all of them! I really like the Mickey Bar BFF necklaces!

Have fun with your girls in Alabama!

Enjoyed the stroll around Pop and DHS. I, too, get to say I'll be there next weekend!!!  :banana:

The Mickey Bar BFF necklace is cute! Safe travels to Alabama!

Have fun in Alabama! I'm sure the girls are going to love spending time with you! :)

Brooklynn was surprised to see me, because Jill didn't tell the girls I was coming. We have hung out playing with Play-Doh and Little People, and Brook and I went outside for a while when Bella was napping. It's a pretty day.

Sounds like Bella. She's happy most of the time and is pretty low maintenance.

We are trying to get most of this report done and just have maybe a day or two left when we start the new report, so I am putting up pictures just as fast as they are being loaded. We're almost out of pages, so we're going to have to come up with a name for the October trip report.

I love all of your photos, Memom!
Have a wonderful time in Alabama :goodvibes

I'm glad you enjoy them. There was nothing spectacular going on, since I was just walking around Hollywood Studios alone, so they are just random shots.

You are so lucky! :dance3:

I am heading back about three. I need to be home, or at least in very familiar territory, by dark.

I love that picture made of pins! I would love to do that for the boys! Great pics as always. I hope you had an uneventful trip home. It is wonderful that you spent time with your girls again today. I did not leave my house. I made vegetable beef soup, made cookies with the boy, and relaxed. :goodvibes

Soup sounds good. It was dark and rainy when I got home, so soup would have been very welcoming. I made it almost all the way home before there was a back-up on the interstate. Caution signs said to find a different route, so I did, although it was not through one of the better areas of town. I was glad to get out of there, and since I was running behind, I didn't make it home before dark at all. I can't see well at night, so I am very nervous driving when I have to be out. I don't drive in the dark unless it's pretty important, and then I drive very slowly. I was glad to be in for the night. :)

That is a cool pic made out of pins! Glad you had fun with the girls.

I'll be on the hunt for a way to make our names in the future. :thumbsup2

***********************************

I enjoyed my day with the girls, and Jill and John got a lot done in the garage. People driving by stopped, thinking they were having a yard sale. They gave away some items, which meant that was less for them to have to haul away. The garage looks so good now!

The bad/good thing for today was that they discovered the water heater was leaking, so they had to get a new one. It was an expensive day for them, but better that they found it out before it had ruined a bunch of stuff.

Brooklynn and I watched movies, made Play-Doh ice cream sodas, and played outside. Bella wanted to read some books and play with Little People. She found a gaw-gie (doggie) at every turn. She loves dogs and balls! I told Jill we should do her 2nd birthday with a 101 Dalmatians theme. I know Jill could make a most adorable spotted cake, and black, white, and red plates and such would be easy. I saw a few things on Disney Shopping, including this:

http://www.disneystore.com/disney-s...uctID&Ntt=dalmations&Dr=pPublished:1&Ntx=mode matchallpartial&Dx=

and some cute plush gawgies, too.

(Sorry, I don't know how to make the pictures themselves stay up.)

Jill said she was thinking about just Mickey and Meenie, but if we do another Disney Day with the boys this spring, we'd do more of a Mickey & Minnie theme with that, of course.

Anyway, just random thoughts. I have enough to keep my plate full, yet I have time to think about Bella's 2nd birthday party five months in advance! :sad2: I'm not 'playing with a full deck' as they say. ;)

I was thinking of that cute little Dalmatian watching TV scene at All Star Movies. It's screaming party photo op to me.

Okay, if she decides to do something else, we'll just have a Dalmatians party another time, not associated with a birthday. For some reason, I just think the Dalmatians are so cute these days, and I think it has to do with Bella loving dogs so much.

And no, Jill, I do NOT want you to buy me a Dalamatian!!!

The last time I said IF I ever had a pet, I would want a kitten,
because they're so cute...
and
I got a kitten!
And now he's just a spoiled rotten little rat.

Okay, back to the here and now - November 2010, not April 2011. :upsidedow
After hitting the road at 5-ish this morning, I am tired, so I will go catch up on a few more reports and then call it a night.

Thanks for the Subway today, Jill. The garage looks great. Now is you can talk John into a barn, you'll be in good shape. :goodvibes

Oh, how I love your updates, MeMom and how they take me right to the happy place. The mickey bar necklaces are adorable. And all those pin pictures - especially the one spelling WDW- make me want to start collecting.

Glad you are having a fun weekend with your girls!! :goodvibes

On my last trip, I bought each of my girls a set of the Mickey Bar best friends necklaces to bring to their BFFs. :) They are so cute.

Glad you had fun with your little girlies today. Sounds like Jill and John got a lot accomplished. That's such a great feeling! :)

The girls always look like they are having so much fun playing in the water:goodvibes.

Love all the pics of DHS & what a cute idea with the pins!!

Glad to hear your friend is awake & hopefully felt some movement. Great news:thumbsup2!!

Glad you enjoyed your day with your sweet girls. Sorry Jill & John needed a new water heater but sounds like they got a lot done.

I wish it was April 2011 because we would be leaving for Disney in less than a month!!

Hope you have a great Sunday MeMom.

Hi friends....:grouphug:

Did the spreadsheet help in finding the perfect car?

It's great to hear you got the bowl you've been wanting forever. Awesome surprise! :thumbsup2

I think we have decided to arrive on March 1st.
I had a parent/teacher conference on Friday and Lexi got the go ahead on taking a week off.

I hope we can meet sometime on the 2nd at Epcot or around POP.
I think it would be so fun to just bump into you while you are taking a pic or waiting in line at the bus stop.
I often imagine myself in WDW while looking at your pics, it would be crazy to actually be in one.
I'm trying to convince my DMom to wear the birthday pin while we are there ...I still have some work to do....she is not wanting any part of it...
:rotfl:

I'm looking forward to trying Garden Grill. It's somewhere I've always wanted to go.
You should try it too! :goodvibes

I don't think you are silly for thinking about Bella's birthday.

I just booked a room in NYC for Lexi's birthday in April.
I am so excitted to see the new Disney Store!
I'm coming home with a Statue of Liberty Minnie!
It's going to be a surprize trip...shhhh...
My plan is to take her to Toys R Us, FAO Swartz, Disney Store, Build A Bear, Nintendo, M&M store, Hershey Store and sight see.
We will stay in Times Square. I need to find a fun place to have dinner.
I looked into a Broadway show. Mary Poppins isn't showing and Lion King would be several hundreds of dollars for the three of us. (not sure if I want to spend that much ontop of the already expensive trip :confused3)

I enjoyed all the shopping pics and the character pics with the girls.
Super cute!
I love how Stitch and Minnie got on Bella's level to interact with her.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend!

I love the idea of a 101 Dalmatians theme for Bella's second birthday. My niece, Kathryn, who is actually turning 12 today had a Dalmatians party years and years ago. My SIL bought a bunch of really inexpensive dog bowls and did the names of the little party guests on them. She served their cake and ice cream in them. Chelsea still has hers.

Let's just pack up and go back to our Happy Place right now. :cool1:

Pin collecting is fun. Right now, I just buy them to keep, but I might get some to trade and just give away to kids when I have more money.

Those necklaces were cute, and they're perfect for girls the ages of yours.

They felt good about getting rid of some trash, giving some things away to strangers, and then taking a load to donate. Also, they felt good that they found out about the water eat before it was any worse. ::yes::

We will definitely meet either at Pop or Epcot. Maybe at The Seas, like we did with the other DISers, for a ride on Nemo That's an easy place to find each other.

Boy, I am jealous of that New York trip! How fun!
Pleas share pictures when you get back.

We might have chosen Garden Grill for this trip, only we have one half day in Epcot, and that's parting day, so it won't work this time. We'll try it this summer, when we have much more time. I am really looking forward to it.

What a cute idea!
I just went on ebay and bought a lot of 29 Dalmatian figures and a cute little lunchbox - all for seven bucks! If we do have a Dalmatian party, those will look so cute spread all around where the food is, and if we don't, Bella will love playing with a whole lot of gawgies when she is here. I'll take a picture when they arrive to share with you guys. They are very cute.

Oh I agree with CP about the Dalmations theme! TOO cute! That would be so much fun!! That and/or Aristocats! Which is only funny to me b/c The elementary school just announced their play for this year, as Disney's Aristocats Jr.!!! Griffin is already signed up to participate, he loves theater, so hopefully he will be a cute alley cat! 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. I am sure it is a good way to add extra kids.. can't have enough alley cats

I always am up for a morning Disney shopping trip with MeMom photos! :thumbsup2
