I love that picture made of pins! I would love to do that for the boys! Great pics as always. I hope you had an uneventful trip home. It is wonderful that you spent time with your girls again today. I did not leave my house. I made vegetable beef soup, made cookies with the boy, and relaxed.
Soup sounds good. It was dark and rainy when I got home, so soup would have been very welcoming. I made it almost all the way home before there was a back-up on the interstate. Caution signs said to find a different route, so I did, although it was not through one of the better areas of town. I was glad to get out of there, and since I was running behind, I didn't make it home before dark at all. I can't see well at night, so I am very nervous driving when I have to be out. I don't drive in the dark unless it's pretty important, and then I drive very slowly. I was glad to be in for the night.
That is a cool pic made out of pins! Glad you had fun with the girls.
I'll be on the hunt for a way to make our names in the future.

I enjoyed my day with the girls, and Jill and John got a lot done in the garage. People driving by stopped, thinking they were having a yard sale. They gave away some items, which meant that was less for them to have to haul away. The garage looks so good now!
The bad/good thing for today was that they discovered the water heater was leaking, so they had to get a new one. It was an expensive day for them, but better that they found it out before it had ruined a bunch of stuff.
Brooklynn and I watched movies, made Play-Doh ice cream sodas, and played outside. Bella wanted to read some books and play with Little People. She found a gaw-gie (doggie) at every turn. She loves dogs and balls! I told Jill we should do her 2nd birthday with a 101 Dalmatians theme. I know Jill could make a most adorable spotted cake, and black, white, and red plates and such would be easy. I saw a few things on Disney Shopping, including this:
http://www.disneystore.com/disney-s...uctID&Ntt=dalmations&Dr=pPublished:1&Ntx=mode matchallpartial&Dx=
and some cute plush gawgies, too.
(Sorry, I don't know how to make the pictures themselves stay up.)
Jill said she was thinking about just Mickey and Meenie, but if we do another Disney Day with the boys this spring, we'd do more of a Mickey & Minnie theme with that, of course.
Anyway, just random thoughts. I have enough to keep my plate full, yet I have time to think about Bella's 2nd birthday party five months in advance!

I'm not 'playing with a full deck' as they say.
I was thinking of that cute little Dalmatian watching TV scene at All Star Movies. It's screaming party photo op to me.
Okay, if she decides to do something else, we'll just have a Dalmatians party another time, not associated with a birthday. For some reason, I just think the Dalmatians are so cute these days, and I think it has to do with Bella loving dogs so much.
And no, Jill, I do NOT want you to buy me a Dalamatian!!!
The last time I said IF I ever had a pet, I would want a kitten,
because they're so cute...
and
I got a kitten!
And now he's just a spoiled rotten little rat.
Okay, back to the here and now - November 2010, not April 2011.
After hitting the road at 5-ish this morning, I am tired, so I will go catch up on a few more reports and then call it a night.
Thanks for the Subway today, Jill. The garage looks great. Now is you can talk John into a barn, you'll be in good shape.
