Ohhh I really loved these updates! I wish I would have seen the Living with the Land and The Seas update this morning before work...my day would have started out a lot better than it actually did! :headache: I really love the pictures of Bella outside of the The Seas and then the two girls with the "random Mouseketeer" :rotfl2:

I love your Soarin' pictures! I've never tried to take my camera out during the ride because I'm a klutz and will drop it lol

Love DIS meets! One day I truly want to meet all of my DIS friends :grouphug:

I was keeping a careful watch on Bella, as she could have gone through the bars sideways, most likely.

She's a pretty easy-going girl, so we have to respect her willingness or unwillingness to meet these very large-headed characters as it comes.

I am sure you would not let Bella "go swimming". She seems like a curious little girl who has a devilish side. :cutie: When they are so little and light, they move pretty fast so you blink and they are off. I know from experience. :rolleyes1

I know we're doing an 'Ohana dinner. Our other big meal will be either Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Garden Grill. The BBQ is just so darn expensive, so we might hold off on that for another year or so when money is not so tight.

Is this for the March trip or the summer trip? I thought you said you had free dining for the Feb/March trip? If so then maybe the BBQ for the free dining?

Great fountain pictures to add to your collection. The pictures of the Dis meet showed showed fun times, even with Beverly to taste.

Great looking group there. Wish I was one of them. I know all of you had agreat time meeting each other.

That good huh?lol

Great update MeMom! Thanks so much for the update it put me in a great mood. I don't know if you saw it on FB or not. But, I finally watched TOY Story 3 for the first time this weekend. Ty actually sat still to watch most of it. It was too cute.

Great update!
Thanks for the pics of Soarin'. :goodvibes My family loves it also. Wish I could transport myself there right now.:thumbsup2
Looks like another fun DisMeet. Great Pictures.
I love ClubCool but it is especially fun to see someone's reaction to Beverly for the first time. :rotfl2:

Shocker...How do you like those toe shoes? Are they comfortable for Disney park touring?

Ty's Nonnie...So glad to hear you are felling better.

You don't know Kim and Ron! :scared1: ;)

Well, I know their names, and that is about it. I have never watched an episode to know who their enemies are or what all their tricks are or whatever. Is it still on? Maybe I'll try to sit down and watch an entire episode over one of the holiday breaks.

I just put the camera around my wrist and set it in my lap.

I hope we do get to meet you in Disney World someday. You guys with no kids and no school schedule go at such different times, though. This will be my first time to go in February, so I am kind of excited about that.

She does have a devilish side, alright! ::yes::

Free dining is for the February/March trip. I really would like to do the BBQ, because I think the girls would enjoy it, but it's over $50 a person just for one meal, and for someone like me, that is a ton of money! We only have QS dining, so that wouldn't work, and we'd want to do Mickey's BBQ when the guys are with us, anyway, because they love that kind of 'grub'. :)

Jill's Tables in Wonderland card is good until the end of February, so if we want to do a table service meal, we can. We're trying to think of some place neither of us have tried, yet somewhere the guys wouldn't really care much about. Brown Derby could be an option or Olivia's at Old Key West. I've never been to Shutter's at CBR, but I'm not sure if Jill has, since she has stayed there. Another option would be Hollywood and Vine for lunch with the new characters. We've been to H&V, but I've only been for breakfast, and I think Jill's other trip there was also breakfast. We have also not done 1900 Park Fare for dinner.

I'm not opposed to going to LeCellier again, since Kay has not been there, or maybe trying the new Mexican place. I'm not opposed to Akershus, either, since I have not been there. We could try Via Napoli or Chefs de France or Rose and Crown.

Great updates Looks like a fun Dis meet!!

It really was. Didn't you think our DIS ladies were cute drinking the Beverly?

I am still worknig on getting the perfect one for my collage, which will actually come together one of these years. I am not opposed to either of those, but I will still work on 'the' picture that just really speaks to me.

I was going to watch it with Brooklynn and Bella this weekend, but with all the car stuff going on, we just didn't get to it. Maybe she'll bring it with her Thanksgiving weekend. If not, we'll see it during the Christmas break.

Great update!

That's a good idea to wrap it around your wrist, I didn't think of that but am going to try it next time.

The no kiddies thing makes it much easier when chosing when to head to the World but my school schedule up here is so much different than it is down there. This semester I'll be done about 10 days before we leave. When I start teaching though, our schools here aren't done until late June  Hopefully I'll be living down South by you all sooner than later :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone! I have enjoyed the pics of Epcot on this cold morning. I am so excited to be there soon again!! I told Jason this morning that I am going to explore the WS more this time. It seems like I just buzz through it all the time. I will bribe the kids with Kidcot stations and finding characters. I cracked up at the Beverly. I got Jason to try this last year without telling him anything. His face was priceless.
Well, it is another busy day for me. I work all day and I have a Pre-K Mom outing tonight at PF Changs. We took the boys to the UT Mens Basketball game last night. I really would like to just stay at my house for awhile.
Have a great day!!:lovestruc

Aw, great update and pictures!! We loved Club Cool. The kids and I made two trips there during our December trip. I love that Brooklynn gave Beverly another try for a quarter. Ha!!! Whatever works! :)

Great Dismeet pics:thumbsup2 Love Anita's face trying the Beverly:)

Shockers Toe shoes are too funny!!:rotfl: I don't think I have ever seen shoes like that before. That is so funny that you got a pic of them.

OKay I understand now. :teacher: The Mexican Place on the counter service side is really good. We did 1900 Park for dinner in Sept. The entertainment was worth more that the food in my opinion. Not bad but just Okay.

I know Jill had a bad experience at the Coronado but if you are on the QSDP Pepper Market is great use of a credit. You get seated, real plates and silverware and the meals I have had there recently were table service quality. So is the price, hence the great CS value. Desserts are like those at Sunshine seasons ... Yummm.

Funny how you start listing resturants and the list just keeps growing. :rotfl2: I have the same problem.

I'll go ahead and answer the shoe question for Shocker. He likes them.
I agree, they look strange!
They are called Five Fingers by Vibram. He bought them at a hiking specialty store.
You wouldn't believe it but they have some really cute colors in the women's, I just don't think they are for me.

About the Beverly.
I had tasted it before.
It wasn't any better the second time around.
I told Brooklynn if she would do it I would do it too.
As MeMom said, she didn't like it either.
She's no dummy though.
She got a Minnie Marshmallow pop for her trouble!

Yeay for a DIS meet! Love the picture of Anita trying the Beverly! What a good sport!

I asked who was trying the Beverly, and Anita and Cheena were the brave ones who stepped up to the task. I am sure they were well aware their expressions would be put on the boards for all to see. They looked grossed out and cute at the same time. My face, when drinking Beverly would be grossed out and not nearly so cute. They were good sports! ::yes::

When I get the rare chance to skip school, it is nice to go when it is less crowded. However, the way we work things even in the summers and on holidays, we don't wait in long lines or anything anyway, so it's all good.

Are you still thinking about TN, or are you moving further south?

There's so much to see in World Showcase. A lot of people don't realize there are mini-museums and films and entertainment.

I have never eaten at PF Changs, but it is popular here.

Jill is the same way about having some time at home, and if she had some time at home alone every so often, that would be great. If I lived close, she could drop the girls off with me, send John on a canoe trip with his buddies, and then be able to have the house to herself for a while. Being with kids and people, in general, all day every day, sometimes a person just needs to be alone with their thoughts for a few minutes.

Thanks! I am feeling much better!:)

Good to hear! :)

Wigd refreshed my memory. I remember now that there was some marshmallow goodness involved. Her second taste at Beverly was apparently going to cost more than a quarter!

Great Dismeet pics:thumbsup2 Love Anita's face trying the Beverly:)

Shockers Toe shoes are too funny!!:rotfl: I don't think I have ever seen shoes like that before. That is so funny that you got a pic of them.

I thought they were very interesting. I have since seen them advertised, and they say hikers just love them.

You should know I'll take a picture of just about anything! Toes are fair game.

We'll keep tossing it around, and we may not do a table service at all. We're trying to come up with the perfect mix at the perfect price while Jill's card is still good. There are still many restaurants we haven't tried, so I'm always happy to try a new one.

I bet they do have cute colors for women. I don't think I'd like them, but one never knows until giving them a test drive. One of these days if I happen to see them in a store, I'll have to try them on and see what I think.

That was Brooklynn's second time to taste it, and her reaction was nothing like the first time. I do seem to remember a marshmallow pop, now that you said it.

Okay, Jilly-bean, you are up aain on the pictures, when you get the chance. We'll try to get loads up before we hit page 250 on this one, just have a little to finish when we start the new one, and then we can easily finish the short trip on that report. Same thing we did that last time. We'll have to come up with a name for the new report, too.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, everyone!

Oh, and an update on Bill - he was flown to Atlanta yesterday. He is awake, unable to talk, but mouthing words. Still no movement, but he thinks he felt a nurse touch his knees yesterday. I talked to an uncle-in-law day before yesterday. The family is working out a way that someone can be down there with June at all times.

It was certainly nice when I missed some school last Nov/Dec to go for the holidays. The crowds were so low but I agree, we rarely wait in long lines anyway so it doesn't matter much :goodvibes

We're still considering TN but also really thinking about FL now. Chris has family in FL and since we're moving away from all of our family up here in NY we think it'd be nice to have his FL family close. It's still up in the air until we have enough $$ saved up to move anyway! :thumbsup2

I am a home schooling mom, and I have never done many of the educational things at Epcot. It sounds like a good plan for our next trip. We have a trip scheduled for next month, Dec. 13-18. I feel like we should cancel it because of my recent hospital stay and all the bills that go along with that, but my husband says we are still going. So, it sounds like I have no choice.;)

Sounds good on the plans! We will make something work for sure!

:yay: for the mixing bowl!!!!!!!!! eBay can be amazing, can't it?

I've been about a week behind and am catching up now. Did I miss date announcement??? I know I will be there when Brook is there so am thinking this starts Sat, Feb 26th? If so, I am there too:banana::banana::banana:

Going back to finish my catch up:)
