Lastly, we had the best trip. EVER! The weather was great and the crowds were low. The Food and Wine Festival had delicious food. We tried many foods that I had never had before like lamb and duck. DS7 rode several rides that had never ridden before like Space Mountain, Primeval Whirl and Mission:Space, and Expedition Everest. I had never ridden EE either. We were so nervous when we first got on but we ended up having a blast. It is so much fun to finally be able to ride the big rides together as a family. We got picked as Family of the Day,not once, but twice. The first time was at EPCOT. We were allowed behind the ropes at the Fountains. We got our pictures made with the characters, then we got to ride in a Test Track car to be the first ones on Test Track. They let us ride it twice without getting off, then gave us a free 5x7 picture and FP's for another ride. Then they took us over to Mission:Space. We got a tour of the ride and the ride control room. Then we rode it.

The next day we went to the Magic Kingdom. I was so surprised to be picked again. We got to ride up Main Street in a old time Fire Truck/car. They stopped in front of the Castle to let us take pictures before taking us to Toon Town. Once there, we had a meet-n-greet with a bunch of characters. After photos were taken, we hopped on the train with all the characters. We rode to the front of the park and were up on the platform for the opening show. Afterwards, we had a few moments with Mickey by ourselves and then it was off to enjoy the rest of our day. It was amazing!

How awesome!

First of all, so glad that prayers are being answered for Jarvis' Mom. I will continue to pray for his family.

Second of all, I am so sorry about your cat. I hope that he responds to the second round of antibiotics. I will pray for you about your decision concerning your kitty. Our pets become part of our family and it is always hard to see them hurt or suffering.

Lucky Ducks!!! That is awesome!!

So glad you guys had a good trip.

Awww MeMom, I am so sorry! I unfortunately have had to make a decision like that (along with my parents) for my 2 doggies who stayed with my parents after Chad and I got married! I am so sorry you are having to deal with this :(

Bella wiping her hands.

 When I was babysitting Kazin he was eating pasta and tomato sauce and I had plenty of napkins out. Did he want to wipe his hands on them? Of course not! He wiped tomato sauce on his white shirt instead :rolleyes1

So sorry about your kitty  I've been there before and it's not fun :sad2: Actually we had something similar with one of ours recently. She wasn't eating or drinking and she wasn't acting normal at all. She also had blood in her urine and the vet said she had a fever. It ended up being a kidney infection. She's absolutely fine now and I hope your kitty gets better too :grouphug:

Aww, MeMom so sorry to hear about your pet, that is no fun. I know it is hard!

I hope your trip will help put a smile on your face and that your cat makes it through.

Sorry about no more pictures before we leave, guys. This week has been a mess. We'll pick up where we left off when we return. When we get through the summer report, the October one can carry us through the boring cold winter months.

The second vet said he thinks the cat has a severe virus. He said sometimes you just get one that zaps you quickly and hard. He gave him two shots and some liquid medication. His fever has gone down some, and he is moving his legs better. He is holding his head up, which he has barely done since Monday. I am really, really hoping this will do the trick. If not, he said there will have to be some fairly expensive tests run. Add a few more hundred to the $50 from yesterday and $125 from today and that's a hefty chunk of change. Of course, I want him to get better, so if it has to be done, I'll just have to get on some kind of payment plan, hopefully. I am praying that what the vet gave him today, along with the virus running its course somewhat, he will get better without all the other stuff.

So, amidst the cat sitting and school tasks, I have managed to gather some items I think I will need into a couple of bags, and I am somewhat ready to go. I guess whatever I don't remember can be purchased when we get there, since we'll have access to a car if we need it.

Tomorrow will be long and full of more tasks, but when the girls show up tomorrow afternoon, I am putting it all behind me. We're going to go and have a great time, but this is just one of those times when real life didn't let me participate in the pre-trip excitement

Thank you all for your sweet comments and support. You guys are very special to us.

reelmom - That couldn't have happened to a nicer family. Tell your husband I arranged all that just to help sell him on WDW. ;)

I'm glad to hear that your kitty is at least doing a little better. I hope the poor thing just keeps getting better.:goodvibes

I know you will have a fantastic trip!! Safe travels!

Oh MeMom, hopefully this will help your kitty and make him all better.

Sorry that you didn't get to have that pre-trip excitement, but like you said, when the girls get there tomorrow, it will all be better. :) AND, you'll be seeing Trent soon, too!

Have a fantastic time, ladies!! :dance3: Can't wait to hear all about it and see all the pics. Safe travels!

*Reelmom - that is incredible!!!! Are you doing a TR?

*****************************

I talked to my cousin that is in WDW a little while ago. They are in the Mickey Phone building getting packed up, as they have to meet ME in the morning at 7 something. She said Kemper, the oldest, was all about all the roller coasters. She said Dean liked Block Party Bash a lot. She said when he got sick for the first time, they were in the line at Peter Pan. SO, to anyone who was there this week and saw a little guy throw up in line....sorry.
.

As they were checking out, I was checking in that same building later that night or did we pass each other? I can offically say I have staying in every section ( if you count the 80's and 90's together) I saw a boy getting sick in the TSM line but not the PP line.

Good news, I think. I talked to the vet and he said he was toxic, so he has gotten into something somewhere. I bet he just ate a big old cricket, because they try to come in downstairs at this time of year, and I lay the Ortho on pretty thick. If he ate one, I know it was full of poison. He gave him a shot and some pills and said he should be looking way better by tomorrow. That is a huge load off of my mind as I get ready to leave town.

What a roller coaster ride! I do hope the cat is coming out of this and all will be well. Since the antibiotics seem to work maybe he just needed a bigger dose.

Hum..... MeMom now that you mention Bo I don't remember seeing him this trip. Now I didn't look for him because we had issues that day.(long story) But, let's just say we spent alot of time by that truck and I didn't notice Bo at all. He could have been there and I was to distracted to notice.:confused3

He was there, right at the entrance where he belongs. A couple of other things went missing though. The Coke bottles were there one day and gone a few days later. The Silver car on Sunset Blvd next to the gift shop and across from the sweet shop was gone. I actually saw Walt the CM I saw in July when Bo went missing( he was the one who stood in for Bo for a photo :rotfl2:) and noticed when he made a comment to another CM. He yelled over " What happened to the car?" or something to that effect.

Overall there were quite a few "walls" up this trip. Every Park had an obvious area they were refurbing. Mousegears is refurbing the register area, Ak some of the safari areas, Mk - well Fantasyland, teacups, and area around Pooh make that section seem odd looking.

Have a great trip and now I am caught up. For now.

Reelmom, That was awesome you guys got to be family of the Day twice!:)
Memom, I'm a few pages behind...but I hope your cat gets better! Safe travels and have a great trip!
