I think we're going to have a DIS meet, too, at that Fall Festival on Saturday, so that will be fun.

Yeah, my very first Dis meet! Now, my husband asked if y'all were axe murderers from the internet and I told him no so y'all please no axe murdering at the festival. Okay?

Happy Tuesday, friends!

Jill, you are super Mom! :) that trip is coming soon, it's on the horizon!!

Wigd, a girls villa trip?! Sign me up! :) :) Wouldnt that be a hoot? I can imagine the sillyness that would ensue (and some fun too!)!

Oh yes, there would be nonsense going on. ::yes::

I'm going to have to change my 'three weeks from today' game now, because three weeks from today it will all be over and we'll be coming home. :sad1:

That's a little disappointing, what with all that axe sharpening I did during my planning time today. :upsidedow

I think what I am about to write is correct, but if not, Jill will straighten it out. :)

After the concert was over, we met John over at the American 'burger joint'. He had been less than happy about sitting in the rain and humidity, so he left to go get something to drink, I think, and maybe walk around.

They went on back to Pop to have swim and rest time, and I spent some more time in Epcot taking pictures.

Yes, I sacrificed bikini and bed for you guys. ;)

It felt good to be in America Epcot that day.

These are turned right in Photobucket, but I am seeing them sideways, as of right now. Neat Christmas ornaments.

So many pins from which to choose.

I think those are really cool, but cost a lot for the whole set. Maybe sixty bucks or so, I want to say, or maybe more. Here they are close up. I love them!

I want to meet Ben Franklin!! How cool is that?! :yay:

For best friends everywhere,

I got that ornament set (with Dumbo) last year when Jim Shore was at Disney! It's awesome! He's coming back this year, can't decide if I want to go or not  had to stand in line a looooong time for the signing. I do love his pieces. I might need that Mickey and Minnie with the flag ;)

I resisted because I had to, but probably if you divided into that many pins, it might not be such a bad deal. They are cool, for sure.

They had so many neat things going on that day in America. It really did feel kind of special to be there.

Love the Jim Shore figurines. I have a Disney Christmas one. Can't wait to get it out.

There are so many awesome ones.
You could gather up quite the collection! ::yes::

I thought the flag Mickey and Minnie was cute, too. What did he sign - an ornament, the box, what? Imagine how much money he makes on our love for his craft!

Ben Franklin, huh? He used to be around Faneuil Hall in Boston. Not sure if he still hangs around there. In the summer it's all street performers and the occasional creepy clown doing face painting and making me nearly cause a scene :rotfl2:

I love the shopping pictures as always! I love the Jim Shore figurines. I want one so badly!

Haha, I know he's made plenty of money off of me!!! He signed the bottom of Mickey's foot and the box. He aso signed another figure I bought :rolleyes1 there was a limit of 2 signatures, then if you wanted more you had to get back in line (I don't think so!) So I guess I did good to get 3 signatures :) One year my Dad gave me 3 of the figures for Christmas, so he's the one that got me started :goodvibes

Oooh, I love the Christmas ornaments that are in the box! I am definately gonna have to check on those when we go in February!! :goodvibes

Incredible pictures of the World Showcase! :thumbsup2 You got some excellent shots of the details.

I like the Mickey and Minnie with the flag too. Those WS pins are really cool!

MeMom..you've made me want to go buy some more Jim Shore stuff! I already told Fiance that we're going to have a huge cabinet with TONS of Jim Shores on display. I'm going to start collecting all Disney ones!

Ohhhh, Jim Shore....
We used to have a Nifty Fifty. I got my Disney pieces at half off .
They closed.
I'll just stick to ebay....

I just can't pay full price!

MeMom, you took some great pictures the Italian pavilion. Love the angles!!!

I want to meet Ben Franklin!! How cool is that?! :yay:

We met Ben Franklin in Liberty Square in 1999. He was just walking around. He was the only character Brent (then 13) would take a picture with.

MeMom and Jill I loved the videos and the shopping photos. I don't think I have ever been in the shop in America.

Lovely photo in Italy and Germany.

:lovestruc Jim Shore :lovestruc His work always reminds me of my mom, as she's who taught me to quilt.

Your pictures are fabulous! Thanks for foregoing bikini and bed so we could see Italy and Germany through your eyes. :goodvibes

I hope you did not disrupt any historical events in your town squealing loudly about a clown!

I'm sure the figures from your dad are some of your best treasures. :)

They are cute. I wonder if they would have a slight chance of being on sale in January? You might check with someone that is going then.

I love walking around World Showcase taking pictures. The kids have always said if they lose me any time in life, the first two places they will look will be Animal Kingdom and World Showcase.

Can't you just see my missing persons report? It'll tell the detectives right where to find me. ;)

I think a little hutch filled with those would be awesome in your own home one of these days. :thumbsup2

Thanks for sharing the pictures from Epcot and the Worldshowcase. Really enjoyed them. I must confess that they made me homesick for WDW; Epcot especially.

I really enjoyed the video of Voices of Liberty. They are amazing! :worship: We always try to see them at least once every trip. I recently helped a family plan their first trip and I put them on their "must do/see list". They are a very musical family and I know they will appreciate their talent.
Wouldn't that be a fabulous job...singing at WDW. I can promise that they will never hire me for that position. ;)

Loved Mickey, Donald & Goofy in their Americana outfits....so cute. I have never seen them in those cute little outfits before.
