Awww...I love the photopass pics of Brooklynn! The Tink pic is awesome.

I know that I know this, but how old was Bella on this trip?

Aww Brooklynn is so cute with her pin lanyard!!

:cutie: She looked awfully proud!

We didn't think we'd get on Kali in Feb since it was so cold but it warmed up on the last few days so we got to ride :)

I'm DISing until Kazin gets here. I'm babysitting from 5:00 to 9:00-ish, so he'll be here in about a half hour. I'm excited :) And I'm very excited to see the other little guy this weekend :goodvibes

Have a fun evening!

It is nice to have warm weather during a winter trip. I loved November and December trips that we have had. It was so nice to walk around without sweating.

Great pictures. I love that spot waiting for riders at Kali. We sat there for over an hour and people watched, had treats, laughed. One of my favorite spots in Animal Kingdom.

Yeah for Brooklyn's first pin trade. We may attempt this with Abby when we go for Spring Break. This is a new trip in the planning stages, first attempt at Spring Break crowds

What are your dates? We're planning on being there the week of March 15th, I think it is. It's Metro's spring break week.

Bella turned 15 months old on the trip - July 5th.

As Brooklynn pin-traded her way out of the park, Trent decided he wanted to see It's Tough to be a Bug.

Short stop for shopping.

How do you think those seahorses really feel about having their noses bitten off by raccoons?

I want to get a good straight on shot of this sign on the October trip. I'm going to use it in a Science center.

After that, Trent headed back to the room, so I was all alone.
You know what that means, right? :goodvibes

Give me an S,
Give me an H,
Give me an O
and then a P! :cheer2:

But first, a very detailed and possibly scary totem pole.

IMG_6323.jpg

Now shopping.

We haven't bought a Yeti yet, I don't think.

All of that was from this place, where you can apparently put something on your head, on your feet, and in your belly.

More roaming around alone.

Animal Kingdom meets Laugh-In?

IMG_6333.jpg

I loved this little dress!

Glad we didn't see this guy on our Kali River voyage.

This crab is cool.

I think we should have making those little beaded animals as one of our Disney party crafts. :thumbsup2

Move outta the way, fella!

IMG_6355.jpg

That was all inside here.

Hannah declared these lights as "cool!" Apparently she shares a love of light fixtures with LL. She also loved the animal pictures and the totem pool picture. We both enjoyed the shopping pictures! Clay would like those Buddahs. Somehow he got into collecting them and I'm sure he'd find one or two to add to his collection.

I have the baby Yeti on my bookshelf, he was so cute I had to get him. I wish I had gotten the Yeti slippers they had then as well, they would have been so funny to walk around the house in!

Disney shopping is the best shopping! Just what I needed after my day at school!
Making bead animals would be a blast! I hope I can make it to that DISmeet!

I love those movie posters! I don't remember those from the last time I saw that show. I agree, that white dress with pink mickey heads is too cute!

Have a fun evening!

It is nice to have warm weather during a winter trip. I loved November and December trips that we have had. It was so nice to walk around without sweating.

I did have fun! I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be but that's because I didn't have school today

We watched 101 Dalmatians, The Lion King(skipping over sad/scary scenes), and a little of Lady and The Tramp. They were mostly just on in the background but he did stop and watch for like 5 minute periods. He started going "arf arf" when the dogs were barking in 101 Dalmatians :rotfl: He did a lot of dancing during the Lion King and he went over to the tv, started stroking it, and said "nice kitty" :rotfl2: I got that on tape :thumbsup2 I brought out some of my Disney stuffed animals for him, including a Mickey that's almost as big as he is. I'm trying to teach him how to say Mickey Mouse. He has the Mouse part down, but he can't say Mickey yet. You were right about the bubbles! He loved them!

Everything went fine and he didn't cry once. I had no problems at all. This was my first time babysitting anyone alone. It went very well :thumbsup2

Those yeti keychains are too cute. I won't be riding everest but maybe I'll get a keychain for taking a picture of the family on the ride.:lmao:
My March dates are March 13-19th. We'll be at the Dolphin and I have no plans for ADRs or parks and ADRs are next week. I'd love to meet up with everyone finally.:goodvibes

Once again, I love love love the shopping pictures!! I can't wait to buy baby dis stuff and Hollie some goodies once we go in February! :goodvibes

Abby got a yeti when she went on Everest. We used an old trick my dad used with me on space mountain years ago. "You aren't going on the real Everest, you are going on the kiddie version. It starts out the same way." She fell for it. Loved it and got a yeti since we were bad parents and told a Disney lie. ;)

Great picture! :thumbsup2

I LOVE all of the shopping pics...I think you and I would get along really well, MeMom! ;) I didn't do a ton of shopping on our past trip, since Chris isn't the hugest fan of it. Go figure! However, if I were on my own...I think I could do some serious damage! I think that's why Chris insists on sticking with me in the World! :rotfl2:

Yay for pin trading. My girls also like to trade. Great shopping pics. Going to have to check that store out!!

Trent and you were so brave heading to see the bugs -- once was enough for my two bug chickens!

Yeay for shopping! You must get a Yeti at some point -- we have three along with a snow kitty. Sometimes I find them in the freezer since Connor claims they get homesick for the cold weather. :lmao:

Beaded animals would be a great craft! Let me know when you figure out how to do that!

Had to laugh at your Jungle Trek pictures -- that is just what I posted about over on my TR.

Thanks for taking us shopping! We have had a stomach bug around our house and I needed a little Disney break tonight!

Erin, I love your Disney lie. :lmao:

I'm looking forward to it to.

That pink dress is really cute. I told my sister she should get the black and gold since its as close as she's going to get to her school colors. She did not think it was a good idea. lol

Those lights are cool. It looks like I am standing up on the counter to get the shot! I promise you, I am not. Sometimes I hold the camera high over my head to get shots without people's heads in them. It looks like I did that and levitated a little on this one. It just seems to be from a really high angle to me.

I have the baby Yeti on my bookshelf, he was so cute I had to get him. I wish I had gotten the Yeti slippers they had then as well, they would have been so funny to walk around the house in!

I'll have to keep my out for a Yeti. I did ride his ride one time, and I may do it one more time in the future, but I am not in any hurry. That once was enough to last me several years. ;)

Disney shopping is the best shopping! Just what I needed after my day at school!
Making bead animals would be a blast! I hope I can make it to that DISmeet!

How far is St. Louis for you guys? A big DIS meet/zoo trip might be a thought for the future for anyone within driving distance of that.

I love those movie posters! I don't remember those from the last time I saw that show. I agree, that white dress with pink mickey heads is too cute!

If only I had the money to buy every cute thing I see. :)
Good thing I have my camera. It allows me to enjoy these things to some degree without buying. If I look at pictures long enough and then decide it's worth it, then a purchase can be made.

The movie posters are very creative. ::yes::

So glad it went well. Sounds like Brooklynn - a Disney movie should be playing in the background at all times.

Bubbles are cheap and have never failed me. Even my school kids still like bubbles. They should be a staple in a babysitter's bag. :)

I can get a Yeti 'honestly', since I have ridden. :thumbsup2 I still need to go through the regular queue to get pictures, though, since I did Fastpass/babyswap.

Pencil us in for a meet, then. We'll work on details after the first of the year when we know for sure if we will really be able to make the trip. It's a maybe/hopefully, but I am hoping once I get my car paid of it will change to a probably. :goodvibes

Once again, I love love love the shopping pictures!! I can't wait to buy baby dis stuff and Hollie some goodies once we go in February! :goodvibes

I love seeing the shopping pictures again. It takes me back to that little (and very crowded) shop where I was looking at all the Asian merchandise. I remember seeing that dress and calling Jill. She said she had seen it, too. I wished I had had an open budget to get two of them. Maybe next summer's trip will have a little more breathing room in the financial department. :)

What a tale you told!!!
Sure glad she liked it or else she may have found a Yeti to bop you over the head with!

Great picture! :thumbsup2

It looks like you could just go over and pet him, doesn't it? I think it would be cool to work with animals like this.

That's why I have my trusty camera. It keeps me from buying many things. I take pictures, think about it later, and then 99% of the time, never go back to buy.

Yay for pin trading. My girls also like to trade. Great shopping pics. Going to have to check that store out!!

I hope to see Brooklynn do some trading this trip. I will try to video so we can see the whole process.

Wish you and your girls could be in Atanta this weekend. :lovestruc

Not sure why he wanted to see it, but he did, so I was glad to go with him.

I remember finding a basketball in the fridge once. Can't remember the reason, but there was one at the time. :upsidedow We love our crazy boys, don't we???

We are at the same park right now on our reports. I love seeing the same shots and the different shots! :cool1:

Thanks for taking us shopping! We have had a stomach bug around our house and I needed a little Disney break tonight!

Erin, I love your Disney lie. :lmao:

I saw that on FB. Get better SOON!

I'm looking forward to it to.

That pink dress is really cute. I told my sister she should get the black and gold since its as close as she's going to get to her school colors. She did not think it was a good idea. lol

Jill would look cute in that dark dress, too. One day, I will be rich, and I will take pictures and make purchases! :dance3:

We have you and your pops penciled in for the 16th for some pineapple/Adventureland goodness. :thumbsup2 Maybe we can ride Pirates or Aladdin or Jungle Cruise or something together, depending on time constraints for everyone.

Anyone else who will be in Magic Kingdom on October 16th - there is a Dole Whip meet in the works (request of Ed the friendly Toy Story Midway Mania CM) at Magic Kingdom in the afternoon after he gets off work.

Have a great weekend and DIS meet. I am sure seeing Trent is the highlight of lots of fun ahead! I am checking in... but things are just crazy. I hope they calm down sometime before June!

MeMom,
Disney should have you take pics if they ever make catalogs. When I am hot and tired in the parks I just zero in on the thing that I am in the store for. "must get visor. must get minnie antenae cover" and I am tying to get kids to not touch anything. But from the comfort of my compute chair I think "hmmm, Disney has some really nice stuff" News alert, I know!:happytv:
