Hi Disfriends!

I am staying at CS starting on 8/20. I shipped a box of food and odds n ends to CS; UPS says it should arrive tomorrow (8/15). When I check in to CS, where do I go to get my box of goodies? Front desk? Bell services? Someplace else?

Any intel anyone has would be terrific! Thank you!

Since you are sending it via UPS it should be delivered to the Convention Center area, and the Business Center.

Did you include your name as a Guest and your arrival date?

Dave

@Dave006 Yes. I included my name and cited my arrival date. This will be my first time at CS; are the convention center area and the Business Center in the same place?

Definitely double check the hours with the front desk when you arrive and ask for directions. It’s a bit of a walk. You can get to the convention center by walking past Rix and the QS restaurant. You’ll know you’re in the convention center but I don’t recall exactly how to get to the business center from there.

Your hotel bill will have a package delivery charge of like $6 or $8 automatically added for processing your package fyi.

@gottalovepluto Thanks so much! I have shipped myself packages before at other resorts on property, so I knew about the package delivery charge. But, I have always picked up my shipped items either at the front desk or at bell services at other resorts, so I just wasn't sure how to navigate at CS. The WDW website says business center hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday, but when I called just now to double check, the CM I spoke with said business hours are 7 am-7 pm. Hopefully my flight is on time and we'll arrive early afternoon, so I'm hoping that means I'll be able to get my package without difficulty.

Thanks so much, everyone! I really appreciate your intel!!:flower1:

Talk to the front desk on arrival. The phone CMs aren’t actually at the resort, they are a general call center and commonly relay bad information.

The Convention hotels like CS have business centers, for these resorts FedEx, UPS type packages are delivered to the Convention Center. The other resorts use BS or the Front desk depending on your package size.

The Business Centers are operated by Ricoh a third-party company. The normal hours at the CS Business should be 7 - 5 PM, M-F, and 8-5 PM on Saturday - Sunday. But as we have mentioned above always check at the Front desk for (maybe) the latest information.

Packages delivered to Convention resorts are charged based on the weight of the package, and for each package. 0-5 lbs should be $5, and 6-20 lbs should be $10.

@Little E since your package is arriving (5) day early, you may be also charged a holding fee.

The referenced $6 delivery fee is for the other Disney resorts if BS delivers your package(s) to your room. If you pickup your package(s) from BS there is no fee.
