Yum! A carrot cake cookie would make the perfect dessert tonight with my tea. I have never had one. That's definitely on my list for this weekend.

MVMCP? I'm trying to decide if I should get tickets for Thursday or Friday night. Is it worth it? This is the first time I'll get to see Disney decked out for the holidays. Definitely excited!
I have to scrape most of the cream cheese frosting off. I like the taste, but just not so much of it.
I have not been to the Christmas Party, but I am sure there will be many here who have and can help you. What I have heard is that it is good, but most people like
MNSSHP better for the money. Jus seeing Disney World decked out for Christmas without paying extra will be enough for you, I bet, if you decided not to pay for MVMCP. There are so many resorts that are beautifully decorated, huge and amazing trees at every park, fun window displays, Christmas music and decorations everywhere... I'm sure the party is great, though, and I want to do it once sometime in the future. When we have been at Christmas, our times have been such that we got to see the special parade for free, so I don't feel like we have missed out on much.

I am a little less depressed about my lack of a Disney Christmas now than I was 24 hours ago.
I'm back. I had to go to 2 Targets but I found the Mickey dishes. We have 2 Targets about 10 miles away from each other. I ended up just getting the red Mickey shaped bowl and 2 of the cereal bowls. The bowls are for my dog to use for her food and water bowl.
I also stopped by Wal-Mart. I bought a 3.5 foot black Christmas Tree. The reason is it's my DH's fault. I bought a few Villians ornaments at the
Disney Store today and Lang said I needed to buy the black tree to hang them on. I thought he was crazy but the more I got thinking about it, I thought it would be cute. It is pre-lit with gold lights. I will post a picture when I get it decorated. Now I need to find more Villian ornaments. They have a set at DTD in the Christmas Store that I have been looking at for several years but never bought. Guess I need to add those to my never ending list.
The Villains tree will be a sight to behold! I have a teacher friend that would love that. She's all about the Villains. I'll have to tell her about it.
I am familiar with never-ending lists.

I really have to get back to DHS! I told Hollie that Brooklyn rode the ToT so she said she now has to ride it since her friend Brooklyn did!
Hollie would enjoy the plates and cups. There was another kind of cup - the kind with the little shapes trapped inside the watery thing onthe outside. I hate those cups, though!

Hey MeMom and gang! Just got home from my trip to Branson and through most of Arkansas! lol I just got caught up! I took a laptop with me but the battery wouldn't charge long enough to post anything!
I took some pictures and may post them when I get a chance. I ran across some Jim Shore stuff and some Disney paintings. I also went to the Disney outlet in Branson and lets just say Ty racked up! lol I also bought some Disney ornaments because I am going to do 2 trees this year and one will be all Disney. I am going to buy Ty an ornament everytime we go to Disney as a way to remember each trip!

I want to get to a Disney Store before Christmas, but the nearest one is 150 miles away, so that's not happening.

I will keep those that are ill in my prayers. It really gets to me when I hear about a young one that is so ill. My youngest, Blake, fell when he was one and fractured his skull and sustained a mild concussion. We spent the weekend before Christmas in the hospital. He is perfectly fine now, but I have not been the same since. Two months after that, my brother died. He was 39. I have had a very hard time these past 2.5 years. I began planning my first trip to WDW since I was a child to serve as a distraction. Now, I fell in love all over again and I really enjoy these boards and the Disney experience. I have good days and bad days. I became closer to God these last few years for sure and really appreciate church and my church family.
This little boy was actually in his mother's arms, and a boulder the size of a basketball came flying down and hit him in the head! At first it was thought that it was just a loose rock falling, but now they are saying it is more likely that someone pushed it. That act changed a lot of lives forever, I know that.
I know what you mean about not being the same. Our lives changed when Trent almost died, as well. It really makes you know that this life is fleeting. That is why Disney trips with my family are more important than 'things' I could have around here. I am glad Blake is just fine now and able to give you all the little boy mischief that you can handle!
I hope we do help to brighten your days when you have those sad moments. We do care about our DIS family very much.

The plates and bowls come in sets of 6 so I won't have to worry about having enough in the store. I got the tray and the bowl too! They are soooo cute! I need to stay off the computer until Christmas is over if I know what's good for me...... I didn't see the chip and dip bowl online so there maybe a Target trip on the agenda this week after all.
